RP Place of RP

Dram exited the hospital. He wasn't recovered from the damage he sustained but immediately went to Dram's office once he was called. Dram was stripped of his rank and he didn't know if he could trust Lee anymore but he was still a citizen of this city.

"You didn't care about her before and now you do." The computer replied in its monotone voice. "All of a sudden with this power you have an interest in her?" The computer immediately flashed and began to run scans on the video without caring for an answer. "I am most certainly positive that Liquid purposefully entered my trap full knowing that I would be defeated by not realizing Miranda had this sort of power. He was accurate. I need to place more numbers into my systems but even with Liquid, adding Miranda, makes it a wild guess if we can rescue her."

Hykos pressed his hand against his mouth and thought. "Liquid was hell during the last war but his regime is only a shadow of its former self. He may be cunning though. He has no allegiance, he cares nothing of money or power. His only goal is to get rid of people like you, Mr. Lee." Hykos pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose. "We have advantages and disadvantages. Even though he doesn't have the numbers. He does have a target to attack."

"He has no city to defend and you do." The computer replied.

Dram opened the door.

"I'm just understanding you. Your old self would have easily returned. Your new self will not. I'm just understanding your state of mind." Liquid replied. "We can return to the other city quickly but its going to be hell there."

"I'm sorry." Jin'ichi frowned.

"What did you give my daughter?" Lee demanded of Dram.

---

Elizabeth gave him a small smile. "She's just been through a lot."

---

"I want out of this fucking car, that's what I want." Miranda said as she opened the door and stepped out.

"I gave her an emergency serum Hykos gave me in case she was ever in mortal danger." Dram replied.

Hykos widened. "How did she survive that? That was only a temporary solution until we could regulate her! Her using it now is insane." Hykos replied.

The monitor turned toward Dram. "It should be impossible for her to be alive... Unless..."

'I give her antidote to keep her alive...' Liquid murmured in his thoughts as he turned toward Miranda. "What do you suppose we do than?" Liquid asked.

"I wished she saw our world before this." He replied as his markings glowed.

"Unless?" Lee asked. "Please share with the class."

Miranda ignored him as she walked away from the car.

"Don't we all." Elizabeth said.

"Liquid is the start of all these projects. Basically he is the most standard model of all my experiments. Most of my work is based on his blood and DNA. The same serum your daughter was going to use was a modified version of his strands. Much more powerful though but Liquid could have given some of his blood. She might not know it but he is decreasing the pressure from her. Making sure it won't get to ridiculous and kill her. His blood basically integrates with hers and slows it down and eliminates some of it. Its a good idea but Liquid wont be able to do it forever and I still can't believe she survived the initial process." Hykos replied.

Euchre followed her and tried to call out but silenced himself.

"You two should rest. We got help and we should all be fine in the morning." Jin'ichi replied.

"Well she did." Lee said. "And now she is out there with that power that should be in our hands. She is out there where any other faction or alliance or even the others can scoop her up."

Miranda continued to walk.

---

"What do you think we are doing?" Elizabeth asked.

"Liquid won't allow that. I don't believe he would even care if she was in our hands. I believe he is making her an uncontrollable weapon." The monitor replied.

Euchre grabbed her shoulder lightly.

---

"I'm just making sure." Jin'ichi replied as his markings went red.

"And why would he do that?" Lee asked.

---

Miranda turned. "What?" she snapped.

---

Elizabeth watched. "You okay?"

"Liquid doesn't care about losing. He simply cares about winning." Dram replied.

"Even if you killed Liquid his goal is to beat you. Miranda being an uncontrollable weapon can lead to your death." Hykos replied.

"Are you alright?" Euchre asked as his ears flattened.

---

"No. Not in the slightest." Jin'ichi replied as he headed for the door.

Miranda sighed. "Oh, I'm sorry." She said as she reached up to make his ears stand. "I didn't mean to snap at you."

"He underestimates us then." Lee said.

---

"Jin." Elizabeth called.

"Its fine! You aren't bad at all! If it makes you happy its alright!" Euchre replied as he saw her sigh. His ears were warm and moved with her touch.

"An uncontrollable weapon is dangerous. Do you really want to restrain her? Do you believe we can trick her? Or is there a third option you wish to share?" Dram asked.

"Yes?" Jin'ichi looked over his shoulder as his markings turned green.

"It doesn't make me happy when you're sad." Miranda told him. "I'm just annoyed at Liquid. Not you. Never you."

"What do the different colours mean?" Elizabeth asked.

---

"You were in love with her, correct?" lee said

"I'm not sad. You made me happy. You did so much for me." Euchre replied. "But I don't want you so stressed. I'm not sure much about human affairs but I see much death around him, sadness, and secrets. Why are you annoyed at him?" Euchre asked.

"Their changing??" Jin'ichi replied a bit chocked and looked at his hands. "I guess you can say they represent my feelings but they mean more than that..."

"I did as you instructed." Dram replied.

"Because of his secrets." Miranda said. "I feel he expects much from me, but doesn't want to tell me anything."

"So far I have seen Red and Green." Elizabeth said.

---

"Were your feelings for her real?" Lee snapped.

"Why don't you ask him? Running away will not answer your questions. If he bothers you much I can keep him away. Maybe he is secretive because of what has happened to him." Euchre replied.

Liquid looked to the sky as it began to dim and night began to fall.

Jiasca began to make a fire.

"Anger for not protecting you more and happiness that you are alright." Jin'ichi replied. "They are awakened when an act happens."

"... I believe so." Dram replied as he looked at Lee. "I will not lie but that is why I was able to keep her alive." Dram reminded him.

"I don't want to travel with him." Miranda said. "I can't trust him."

Elizabeth nodded her understanding. "Well, thank you."

---

"Then you will bring her home." Lee said.

"Why have you stayed with him?" Euchre asked.

"What will make you trust me?" Liquid asked from afar as he began to move supplies from the truck.

"I'm sorry but these signs also mean much more. They also mean what I will become." Jin'ichi replied.

---

"I will do so." Dram replied. "I will ready my men I have left."

"And Dram, if you succeed you will be rewarded." lee said.

"What will you become?" ELizabeth asked.

---

"Nothing." Miranda said.

Euchre led her farther away. "Can I do anything? I can try to fight him to help you escape." Euchre replied assuredly.

"I don't know yet." Jin'ichi replied. "That depends on you."

---

"I don't wish to be rewarded. I wish to do what is right." Dram replied as he headed out. "I believe this is what we should do."

"I don't think he'll follow us if we just walk away." Miranda said. "Can you hunt and cook?"

"On me?" Elizabeth asked.

---

Lee watched him go before turning to the other men.

"Yes I can." Euchre replied. "But are you sure of this?"

"Yes." Jin'ichi replied. "You triggered it but don't worry I will not be a burden."

---

"What do you wish us to do?" The monitor asked.

"I don't want to travel with a man I don't know the true intentions of." Miranda said. "I just can't trust him."

"I meant, what do you mean by that?" Elizabeth asked.

---

"13, I want you to keep an eye on him and make sure he does his mission. His feelings may be a problem." Lee said.

"You are free to live whenever you wish." Liquid replied from behind Miranda. "I will not prevent you from leaving or ask you to stay. If you need any supplies take what you need from the truck but I still recommend on hunting to save food."

Euchre nodded and began to get rations for them.

"That you can make me a monster or a pacifist. It is that wide of a spectrum." Jin'ichi replied.

---

"I have already infiltrated his group, placed watches on him and have used technology to monitor him." The screen flickered.

"Its the reason I disliked you, 13." Hykos replied.

"Do you have watches in Hykos' group?" Lee asked.

"How can I do that?" Elizabeth asked.

---

Miranda looked at Liquid.

Hykos laughed. "I personally monitor anything for you." Hykos replied.

"Hykos does monitor himself just in case but I do as well. He has been accurate and truthful to this point. I can pull out every file and archive to reveal his honesty." The screen replied.

"By your actions. It started with the kiss." Jin'ichi smiled as his markings turned blue.

---

"Do as you like." He handed her a radio. "That is for your use. You can radio me or Jiasca but you don't need to use it. It is not bugged and you can abandon it once you deem it useless." Liquid replied as Euchre returned with supplies.
