"Fine." Miranda said. "All I was trying to do was help." She turned and walked away.

Gas began to fill the streets

"You can help..." Steele reached out and grabbed her by the shoulder. "Your power will kill you if you overuse it but one of our scientists has been working on something I've kept. You can only use it once though the power will probably destroy it and he probably won't forgive me but if you use it, it will not damage you but only tire you. Hopefully by the time they do invade you'll be up again to help with the fight."

"That isn't good." Pain replied as he looked over the city. "Reminds me of the gas they used to put some of us to sleep."

"Where is he?" Miranda asked.

"I based it off it." The boy said

(Wait I thought Miranda and the Pain were off in a tank trying to get out of the city XD)

Steele ran to her tent a produced a visor. "He isn't here and I think that would be for the best because I highly believe he would cut off my hands if he were to know about this but you can safely use it once and don't use it again. I will have to salvage the parts left to give back to him." She replied as the army began to draw nearer. "Just wait until you have to use it!" She replied as the army was not halfway across the valley and now almost reaching turret range.

Steele looked at all the turrets and ordered to fire at will.

Thousands of shells began to explode and launch into the air as the sounds of whistling were followed by explosions in the distance. Small breath of fire began erupting among the army and the sight of the dead being decimated only fueled the soldiers to work faster as the army continued to march forward.

(They are.)

"Do I need to stand anywhere or do or... Details would help." Miranda told the other woman.
She couldn't believe she was doing this. She didn't know these people, so why was she helping? This whole thing didn't make sense to her. All she wanted to do was run. Would it really be so bad if she legged it?

The lights were off, which wasn't unusual. It was late and most people had gone home. Lee had wanted more security, but he knew that money could only buy so much trust. The lab was built under his main operating tower. 600 floors under the main operating tower. Each floor had a new code to allow access to it, and each door within that floor required the right DNA sample as well as a key card.
Lee would be the first to admit that he was more than a little paranoid. But what the Lab held was worth the paranoia. Deep within the final level was a stasis tube and tonight, it was the only light glowing in the dark laboratory.

Her name was Alexandra. Her death was meant to have been many years ago. It was luck that caused her to have been found by a group of young soldiers, and it was also luck that had found her placed in a tank to live in an eternal slumber while her body was used for experiments and the likes. She was curled within the centre, her body covering what was left of her dignity. Her mind was only active in her dreams. But this night was proving to be different.

It started with a twitch. A small movement in her right pinky. The twitch soon moved from her finger, to her hand and from there to her arm and so on until her whole body was again alive. Her eyes snapped open next and as the fear and anger filled her, her chamber shattered around her.
Computers and the equipment fizzled and shorted out as the water from within the tube spilled out.

Alexandra shivered as she tried to stand. It was proving difficult. Her hands and legs bleed into the liquid from the tube as she cut herself on the different glass.

That was when the alarm sounded.

Hykos nearly launched into the ceiling as he he awoke from his crude nap on his keyboard. He listened as the alarmed continued to ring and immediately thought that Lee had implemented it again to scare the workers. He grabbed some ear plugs from his drawers and placed them in his ears cautiously as he looked around. He was the only one still within this floor and the only light he could see was from his monitor and the hallway behind him. He looked around before he quickly grabbed at his monitor and began to type numerous codes in. Hopefully Lee might still have trust in him as he began to initialize all non lethal security systems. He began to look through some of the camera's and looked at the numerous labs which were sealed with what was known as the 'Lilith' virus. It was what was killing the other nations and harming their countries. It was what kept them from becoming too much of a threat to Lee and his governmental system.

As Hykos watched he pulled on his mic and began to speak softly throughout some of the halls. "Anyone left within the rooms. Secure yourself in case of a decontamination process. If you are currently working on a project, finish writing down the current details of your work and abandon it. Remember, safety is key." He tried to speak as calmly as he could but as he shut down the mic he began to look at numerous camera's to understand what was going on.

Steele grumbled as she entered her tent. She looked at her prisoner but barely had any options to haggle with. She cut him loose of his bonds and stood him up to meet her face. "Listen, whoever you are.. I need help. I can't possibly keep them at bay and we are going to lose. You need to help me get those thieves to help us. I can confidently say we can hold for maybe a couple hours but we will be destroyed without assistance." She breathed and closed her eyes. "If you don't help us they will only go after you next and we have the technology to fight back but you have the manpower. It should be an even trade... I'll even promise to make it worth your while." She replied as she kissed him on the cheek. "Just help us." She whispered.

Liquid looked at the device and looked at Miranda. "I won't let you down there alone... You consistently seem to hate me but you act like a spoiled child in most situations." He replied as he stretched his arm and began to talk to her of what the device does. "It injects you with what we believe fuels beings like us with power. It injects it straight into your skull. It isn't harmful and you won't feel pain but you will feel as if you have ran thousands of marathons afterwards." He replied pointing to the syringe which would seem to be injected at the back of the neck. "The visor shows your vital signs and what you can do. It is only a prototype made by the League so they were made to only work once they were used. They have tremendous power so I would recommend being careful. Focusing on anything but the mob could lead you to kill a city full of people." He replied as he glanced at her. "I will help you look for Strange. Just remember that you will constantly be dissatisfied with the results."

As the vehicle finally stopped Pain looked over at Ayama and smiled. "I think you killed one more than I did but I think I let you have it." He breathed as he watched as their vehicle was travelling down a long tunnel. The dead had ceased to attack them and the cave was humid. Pain seemed to have particularly hard time breathing as he looked back at Ayama. "I still haven't thanked you for saving me. Most people would have killed me... You are something else." He grinned as he fell to his knee and grabbed at his chest.

Aya,a frowned as she dropped down beside him. She placed her hand over the one that was grasping his chest. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Why can't you ever just speak simply?" Miranda frowned. "I feel like every talk with you is a lesson at school."

Yuki frowned at her. "After all that you have done to us? Not bloody likely."

Alexandra tried desperately to grip onto the wall as she struggled to stand. Her mind still knew how her body worked, but her muscles seemed to have forgotten.
All she knew was that she needed to get out of there and fast.

"If you don't listen you won't realize you will be next and I know the mother of the city Ayama has been gone for such a long time. You think a city created with so many flaws will withstand that onslaught without its leader?" Steele asked as she listened to the artillery beginning to fire with unison. "If you want us to stay away from you and avoid you I would at least damn well assure you help us now. I wouldn't give a damn about what the council orders if you save these men here tonight." Steele replied. "If you don't believe me I will let you take me prisoner from here on out." She replied as she unchained him and placed one of his bonds on her wrist. "I promise you can charge me what you want with if you help us now."

"My insects are damaged... They are trying to heal themselves but I don't have enough sustenance to provide for them so they start eating at less important organs to stay alive." He coughed as he shook his head and looked at her. "I'll be fine... I'll get some food when we are out of here." He assured and looked at her. "

Hykos exited his room as he raised a rifle down the long hallways around him. He placed an oxygen mask over his mouth as he opened a small hand sized monitor within his hand and began to examine what was the cause of alarm. As it kept saying unknown repeatedly he cursed and began to tap a few icons before proceeding forward. He could only think of one thing that would continue to cause so much mayhem and as he reached an elevator he pressed a series of code and tried to see if he could gain access to go to the lower floors. He tested his radio to see if any others were in the near vicinity before finally allowing his elevator to descend.

As it began to move he used the small monitor again and began to check the camera's. As he looked at each of them one by one he realized the threat was at the lowest floor and a single camera revealed a large tube to be empty. His eyes widened as he tried to control the camera to get a better look around. The elevator finally stopped and opened and in fright he raised his rifle immediately and looked around. He turned a flashlight on the edge of the rifle on before stepping out the door and hearing it shut behind him as he began to search for the cause of the alarm.

"I'm sorry if I am flawed." Liquid grinned as he gave her a look. "Simply put, just don't over exert yourself or everyone among this camp could die." Liquid replied as he smiled towards her. "If you want to protect that slave and keep him happy I would recommend listening to what I have to say with extreme precision." He replied as he looked at Miranda and handed her a revolver. "Thing only has six bullets. I wouldn't risk wasting any on me, yet." He replied as helooked throughout his pockets and looked at the device. "Just hope it works."

A hand reached out, knocking the gun from his grasp and taking it into her own. She moved fast, elbowing him in the face and kicking him to the ground before pointing the gun at his head. "Get me out of here." Alexandra growled.

"If I die, I'm coming back to make everyone suffer." Miranda warned him as she began to walk away.

"Sounds good." The man stood. "Lets go do stuff."

"Let them feed on me." Ayama told him. "I heal faster."

He readjusted his glasses before removing the blood from his nose. He calmly stood up and slowly revealed the small monitor within his hand as he emptied his pockets to assure nothing else was on him.

"Killing me does no good. I thought you were something else. If you are still human and can think I at least have to test you to make sure you aren't contaminated. If a contaminated specimen goes to an upper level the entire oxygen within the building is incinerated. Leaving only the computers and hard drives intact." Hykos whispered as he turned and faced her. "Just calm down first, I promise to do what you ask but I will have to make sure you aren't infected with something or if something you caused can spread something. I already created a disease that slaughters people and I won't allow that again. I hardly care for my life to be incinerated." He replied as he looked over her body and held the monitor towards him. He offered it to her if she wanted to see and it revealed nothing dangerous from her. "At least allow me to be content with that." He replied. "Just be wary that the entire Core military stands above our head. Do you truly want to try and escape?"

Steele eyed the man. "What is your plan?" She raised an eyebrow as she followed him.

Liquid walked beside her. "It is what I am currently doing." He complimented her statement as he looked ahead. "Do you want that Keidran along? He loves you and if you abandon him on the battlefield you will only kill him more than a simple disease or wound could have."

Pain shook his head. "You are one crazy person. What are you anyway? Don't seem to have been created with Strange's intention." He replied as he forced himself to stand. "I will tell you when I cannot handle it anymore and pass it to you. I just will warn you that I am afraid that they will completely devour you." He replied as the vehicle rocked slowly back and forth.

Ayama chuckled. "Wouldn't be the first time. Give me a few days and you'll see Im just the way I am now."

Miranda sighed as she stopped. "I don't actually think he knows what love is. I saved him, we fucked once. That shouldn't lead to love."

"None of your busniess." Yuki told her. "Just know that I will get you the man power."

The woman didn't change her defensive stance. "I am not some animal to be tested and kept in a tube. I will get out of here, with your help or not."

"I would still feel horrible for it though. This is my burden and I am stubborn about suffering with it alone." Pain replied as he looked at her and swayed. "Besides, we finally are out." He replied as the road finally led to and opening and they began to exit a large side of a mountain. It was huge and as they continued to drive the territory of the Federation spread long and far before them. Huge grasslands with crops and food seemed to go on endlessly as they began to drive toward the area.

"Haven't been here in a long time." He sighed.

"Why did you save such a being? You plan on leaving him? Maybe the simplest question I should ask is why are you so cold?" Liquid asked as he grabbed her by the shoulder.

"If you want this to work just realize you better succeed." Steele replied. "I promise to sneak away from this camp once this battle is over and you can do what you please with me." She replied.

"I don't view you as a animal. That is exactly why I am testing you. To make sure you are alright." Hykos replied as he walked slowly towards the elevator. He stopped and turned towards her. We obviously can't go all the way back to the top without being killed or trapped and you will probably believe I am turning traitor so what I recommend is going to my floor which is only a few floors above and empty. If you truly want to escape you will need my help. I have an idea for that." He replied.

Miranda grabbed his wrist in a vice grip. "Never lay your hands on me." She growled at him as she let him go. "I saved him because no one deserves to spend their life locked away when they did no wrong. I will not leave him until he decides he wants to leave."

Alexander stood where she was, unsure about how to move next. It was only when she heard the sound of many footsteps behind her that she decided to move. She rushed into the elevator and turned her gun onto those incoming.

Yuki turned his nose up. "You make it sound like Im turning you into some kind of sex slave."

Ayama lent forward and tapped on their drivers shoulder. "How long until food?"

Liquid just grinned. "I will let you on a secret. The genetic mutation to create me was used in creating you. You say you saved him out of pity but what will you do if he never decides to leave? What shall you do if he stays? I promise after this I will find you some place to rest at least. You may disagree with it but I would suggest moving towards Federation territory. I promise not to get into contact with you as you move towards that area and I will finish whatever happens here after this event." He replied.

Hykos cursed and pressed the numeric code which allowed them to begin moving a few floors. He eyed her as he looked at her gun. "Be careful with that damn thing! Those aren't normal bullets!" He replied as he pointed to a hole which was left within the elevator. It was dripping something dark as it ate the metal and seemed to rust that around it. "Those are to insure that nothing survives if it is contaminated with something we can't cure." He replied as they stopped on his floor. He rushed out and scavenged through his desk as he found a canister and returned back to the elevator. He taped the thing in the middle as he looked at her. "This thing will go off. They will still expect it to be us once it hits the highest floors. What we will have to do is use that distraction to escape."

"I have no such perverted mind. I meant put on trial or killed or whatever your people do with prisoners of war." She replied with a hiss.

"That is the problem. We aren't necessarily welcomed on the international level here but a lot of local governments don't really care of who it is as long as they show themselves to be trusted. If they aren't trustworthy they are usually killed and they protects this place ridiculously. It may look nice but look closely."

There were multiple holes within some of the fields and you could see men working on patching them up carefully.

"Those are mines to kill those foolish enough to just try and steal food. Don't worry it looks just as nice though without the minds further up." He replied.

Pain pressed his back against the wall as he slid down and began to try and fight against the horror within his chest. It seemed to linger with each breath he took before he looked at Ayama.

Miranda nodded. "I will accept those terms... However, you are never to contact me again. Just because I was genetically devised from some woman you used to know, does not mean I am that woman." She looked over at the Keidrain. "If he wants to stay, it is his choice. Though he should know that I am not so easily tamed." She smirked softly, gave Liquid arse a smart slap and walked away.

"I can do that." Alexandra told him. She stepped forward and pinned him to his work desk. "However, if this is to be used against me instead of to aid me well..." She slid the gun between his legs and pressed it to his member. She lent in close. "I can't be responsible for any misfires." She breathed into his ear.

"We don't keep prisoners of no use within our city." Yuki told her. "We always find a use, even for those who try to kill us."

"Fuck." Ayama swore and ran her hand through her hair. "Whatever happens, just keep driving. And for gods sake, don't throw my body away." She pushed away from the drivers and walked over to the man in pain. She took his hands. "Just trust me." She told him.

"You mistake my intentions but I will leave you alone. Just understand I am involved in this place in many ways so don't believe we won't interfere and as Miranda moved her hand away he swiftly grabbed at it and placed a vial in her hands as she waked away. "Keep this... If you want the world to return to some form of normality." Liquid whispered as he let her walk away and moved towards his troops as he walked forward. "Get ready to divert them. We won't last long without cooperating. Any and all explosives shall be used. If you die I shall inform your families. Understand this is something we cannot move away from."

Euchre followed Miranda as she walked away. "This is insane... There are thousands of them out there! I don't see us winning this." Euchre replied he stopped for a moment before continuing. "They can't use you like this that they did me." He shouted.

Hykos took the weapon and slid it along his chest until it settled at his heart. "Just understand that I am a person that doesn't care anymore and if you wish to misfire make sure it is a killing blow... All the people who have hated me have regretted taking this shot. Just letting you know." Hykos replied as he left her at the table and moved toward a chamber similar to Alexandra. He touched a few buttons beside it before the area drained and a small girl fell in his hands. "This is all I need! If you can get us out I will help you in any way. I don't care what happens to me just assure she gets out of here." He rushed back to her side and pointed towards another set of doors. We will take the small elevators. They are slower but there are plenty. Will take them a while to check them all." He replied as he grabbed her hand and moved her forward.

"Well find a good use because if you don't I may plan on getting out of there." She replied. "Just come on and help me gain your loyalty and trust of your people." She replied as she grabbed him and led him out of the tent. Some soldiers immediately walked towards her. "Why are you handcuffed, sir?" They asked a bit confused. and startled.

"I am going to ask for assistance from the city of thieves. I will use myself as a bargaining chip and no one is to interfere. Use your better judgement to gain control of the situation. Using myself as bait anyways should get the point to the idiots back home that we are unprepared at the border so either way we should gain some help." She led Yuki to a helicopter and shoved all unnecessary junk to the side. "Alright... I hope you can fly this thing..." She replied as she jumped inside.

The vehicle finally began to reach the outskirts of a city. It seemed to be bustling with activity and the vehicle caused some interest but as it stopped in front of a hospital a mob was already forming out of interest.

Haggard looked at them uninterestingly. "Should I scatter them?" He asked looking toward Ayama.

Miranda turned, her eyes hard. "You have no say in this. It is my choice. You are to stay here and take care of your kind and if you follow me, I will kill you." She warned him as she rose her weapon to his chest. "You are free if any bond or debt you may think you have."
She turned again and began to walk. She only prayed that there was enough power within her to give the shoulders a head start.

Alexandra frowned. "Do I look like a sitter to you? There us not a maternal bone in my body."

Yuki grinned as he looked at the controls. "You bet your arse I know how to fly one of these things. It's been awhile since I've flown one do modern." He began to fiddle.

Ayama nodded as she held into Pain tighter. "Scatter, but do not harm. They may simply be curious about us." She turned her full attention into Pain. "Now let your bugs feast."
