Elizabeth hailed a taxi and asked for her home address. She just wanted her daughter,.

Liquid coughed and poked the fire he had built with a stick. They were miles away from the city and its glow still shone in the distance but the small plumes of smoke had revealed the trouble the day had endured.

Liquid looked over at the truck at Miranda. "She better be worth it." He mumbled and picked up a radio from within his jacket and spoke into it softly. He than returned it towards his pocket and pulled a can of meat and began to cook it.

Rain remained silent and simply looked through her eyes.

Miranda woke up slowly and tried to sit up. She let out a small noise and grabbed her head. She had the mother of all headaches. She climbed out of the truck and stumbled. She frowned and as she looked around.

Elizabeth soon arrived at her small flat. She entered her house and called that she was home. A young girl, with a face and hair similiar to Elizabeths, ran out. She was about six years old.

She gave her mother a large hug. "I thought you had died!" She exclaimed. "After all the bombs, I was so worried! You should have called." She scolded. She often tried to take on the role of mother.

"Things are getting worse." Liquid replied and handed her some water. "You will be able to return tomorrow." Liquid replied.

Rain smiled. "This is what you understand that we are fighting for."

'If you keep fighting like this, you will kill her and others like her.' Elizabeth thought in her head. She smiled at her daughter.
"I'm sorry, love." She said. "I'll make your favorite for dinner tonight." She said to the girl.

The child grinned. "It better be good!"

"What happened?" Miranda asked as she sat down. She began to drink the water.

Liquid looked down at the fire. "Only war will erupt from this. Whats happened is a war within the city. The spies and infiltrators were exposed and attacked by Sienta and its counterpart. What you saw is a schism between the beliefs of the two groups. Shiruba, Kill, Rain and a few others were probably being hunted by the Sienta like how Katsu hunted us." Liquid replied as he laid back. "Whatever you did damaged him."

"I didn't start this." Rain replied. "I was exposed and attacked and had to take the identity of some others to try and escape. It also allowed me to get more information but I believe that my next meeting will lead to our death." He replied as he watched the girl.

'What do you mean?' Elizabeth thought in fear,

"Mum?" The girl asked.

"I don't know what I'm doing." Miranda sighed deeply. "Wait, what did Dram have to do with this?"

"Too much I'll explain later." Rain silenced himself once again.

"Dram nearly killed me. He could have ended this if he had but he chose not too. He chose to try to help and rebuild humanity but in the end I believe he understands that it is a nearly impossible task. He is planning on proving himself in anyway and would give his life. He is one of the few assets your father has. Stahl and Reid are a few others we need to worry of." Liquid poked at the coals in the fire. The stars began to fill the sky as the sun began to set.

"We will get picked up soon so don't worry."

"Picked up, where are we going?" Miranda asked.

Elizabeth nodded. "I'm fine. Let me just go take a shower. You go do your home work."

"Done." The girl grinned.

"Then watch some TV." Elizabeth walked off to the bathroom.

"Hm?" Rain grinned. "Thought you didn't want to give me a show."

Liquid looked at the sky. "Depends, we could enter one of the old cities or visit my new head of operations." Liquid replied.

"I want you to tell me what you meant." Elizabeth said.

"Umm, I would like to go home." Miranda said.

"During the time of the first explosion and the second I was ambushed by former comrades and friends. While I was escaping and being hunted I encountered Stahl and took over his identity but that damned man was able to force me out but I continued to hold his form and took control of a dead soldier too take the position of Liquid. I even had his real arms but unfortunately everything we were going to plan was ruined. We wanted to just infiltrate and swerve the government into a system for the people. We never planned anything violent it was only until today that any violence at all had just taken place." Rain began to show images of people being hired into government positions for the betterment of the people and people like Dram and Geoff being hired to their positions. "It was too change these dictatorships around but I believe we started something terrible."

"Do you know what your father does?" Liquid asked and turned too her. "Do you even remember your mother?"

"No, she died in a car crash a few days after I was born." Miranda said. "Dad told me the story."

"So wait, Dram and that healer were hired under your names?" Elizabeth asked.

Liquid laughed. "What if I told you that you were created like I?" Liquid replied.

"They were hired because we believe they would benefit this state. They aren't a part of our organizations. Plus, Dram has the military skills to keep the other two major nations away and no matter his mistakes will always be an asset to Lee. I can tell you all this information because our plan is ruined as of now. I have nothing to lose rather than your interest. Now I'm trying to think what we will try to do and hoping if the others have survived. If Stahl has survived he will certainly help Lee gain control once again but other than that there isn't much to say unless there's more information you want on a certain subject." Rain yawned and made her feel exhausted. "Can you take that shower now? I'm tired."

"Thats bullshit." Miranda said. "I have a picture of my mother."

"Can you go to sleep and let me shower by myself?" Elizabeth asked.

"Who was she?" Liquid asked.

Rain laughed. "That depends. What do you mean by sleep?"

"I don't know." Miranda said. "Dad doesn't like to talk about her."

"Why?" Liquid asked and placed his hands over the fire.

"Why are you so conscious about your body?" Rain asked.

"I guess he was really upset by her death." Miranda said.

"I don't want people who I don't know seeing it." Elizabeth said.

Liquid just looked at her. "How'd she die?"

Rain grumbled. "It won't look that bad." He replied. "Your figure looks nice." He teased.

"If you have to look, you will shut your mouth." Elizabeth said as she started to remove her clothes.

"Car crash." Miranda said.

Rain smiled within her head. "Fine."

Liquid turned too her. "Do you believe that?"

Elizabeth sighed as she removed her clothes and stepped into the shower.

"What do you believe then?" Miranda frowned.

"Sexy." He replied as he made her purr.

"That Lee created you. The reason he hired Hykos. I'm not sure but it could happen. That man is dangerous and I wonder what he is up too." Liquid's wounds were still revealed.

"Stop that!" Elizabeth placed a hand in front of her mouth. "I told you not to speak if you got to peek!"

"You should probably get yourself healed before you start telling me I have no real family." Miranda said. She paused. "if it was true, then why don't I have any powers?"
