Liquid smiled. "They are only partially activated. I'm not sure what you have but someone must have given you something to reveal it. Only people created with it can use it." Liquid moved around. "I will heal but I'm a lot slower than most further advanced models." He replied.

"Stop it!" Elizabeth growled at the voice inside her head. "Stop it right now!" She tried forcing him from her body.

"So, you're telling me Dram knew about what I was when he gave me that elixer to heal me?" Miranda asked slowly.

---

"I don't care how, just get her back!" Lee snapped at his close guards. "Bring her home safe! She is crutial!"

Rain stopped immediately and silenced.

"He should have. He was the one who tried to hunt down the 'monstrosity' Hykos created." Liquid replied. "I was part of that program."

Stahl walked in. He was attached onto a few medical devices but was able to walk. He was covered with bandages and bruises. Eleven others joined him.


'Dram is still in the hospital after the current attacks and Stahl should be resting but wanted to take part of this meeting." A man looked at Lee. "The generals are ready to do what is asked of them."

"This is ridiculous. I sent ten teams to find your daughter and they have not located her. She must be outside the city walls or she could be dead." A woman replied. She had a scar across her nose and had blond hair that was tucked behind her ears. She had gray eyes and looked at the general with a serious growl. "I believe this to be Dram's job and mine to repair and control the civilians."

"Olga!!" A man who seemed old and grayed replied. He wore an oxygen tube in his nose and breathed heavily. "Lee knows what is best for this country and we must all run efficiently and at our best...." He took a deep breath. "Besides.... Dram has suffered many injuries and you are the next best choice."

Huluhot watched as the generals talked and looked at Lee. He was one of the newly appointed ones and he was looked on cautiously by the others. "I have contacts among the other nations. I could ask them to check for your daughter." Huluhot replied.

"I doubt that my child would be in the hands of the other nations." Lee snapped at him. He looked back to the others, but address Olga. "This isn't just yours and Drams job. This is everyone who works in my close team. You must locate the girl and bring her home alive. understand? I will have the other forces arrange clean up and bring the new protocals into place. You have five days to locate her."

"So... He was hunting me?" Miranda asked softly.

Elizabeth sighd softly and started to wash her hair and body.

"Understood." They all replied.

"Not really." Liquid replied. "That was years ago when he was hunting us down but now he is just trying to get rid of the bad ones and help the good ones. He's changed."

"Shit." Someone stumbled and fell on top of Elizabeth. His hands had accidentally grabbed onto her chest.

Elizabeth opened her eyes in shock.

"So, what was he doing with me?" Miranda asked.

"Now get out of here." Lee said.

Rain tried to get into a comfortable position but made the moment more awkward. His skin was completely pale and his eyes were red.

"Protecting you." Liquid replied. "And keeping you alive. The biggest problem I'm encountering is why Lee is starting this project. Hykos is one of the few with the information and won't give it lightly."

Stahl, Olga, the eldest man and Huluhot remained. "

Olga was the first to speak. "We have news which we believe you won't be satisfied with."

"Is this man ever satisfied?" Huluhot asked. "History has never favored one man and never will what I propose is that we sway it in your favor Lee." Huluhot replied.

"Apparently we weren't the only one targeted... The League of Nations has revealed the same attacks on multiple cities like ours." Stahl murmured as he ignored Huluhot. "They are blaming us."

The oldest man nodded. "The war you previously desired to avoid might become a reality." The man exhaled. "It may lead to some circumstances that may benefit us as well as damage us."

"I am not starting a war, nor will I willingly dive into one." Lee said. "We are not Hitler and his fucking nazis. We are trying to create a better world for our people." He sighed. "I will speak to these nations and see if I can find a way to salvage this."

"How can we get it?" Miranda asked.

"Oh my god!" Elizabeth cried out. She quickly scrambled out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her body.

"Mum?" The little girl called from outside the bathroom door. "You okay?"

Rain slipped and crumpled onto the ground. "You were the one who wanted me out damnit!!" He replied. His tail swung from side to side.

"We won't. He would never give it even to his own daughter." Liquid replied. "I believe your father has good intentions for curing diseases but a few in his cabinet want power." Liquid replied. "Lee is a strong man but like dictators before him. He only has political power and all military power belongs to his generals. Its the generals that continue to follow him that keep the others in check."

"I will create talks." The old man replied.

"The Chinese federation had been awfully quiet. I will inquire if anything has happened with them as well.' Olga replied.

"Nothing." Elizabeth called through the door. "Just a spider. Go back to the Tv." She waited for the sound of footsteps before looking to Rain. "I wanted you out of my head, but I didn't want you groping me!"

Miranda wrapped her arms around her body and closed her eyes tightly. She sighed.

Lee nodded. "Do so. If you can, create a video confrance as soon as possible. I need to check on Dram."

The old man nodded and walked away. Stahl and Olga accompanied Lee too the hospital where Dram was held.

Liquid looked at her. "Before we are secured... Are there any questions you have?" Liquid asked.

Rain laughed. "They weren't that bad to touch." He replied. "I fell." He replied as he looked at her. "Now finish taking your shower." He replied as he pushed her back into the shower and sat outside the curtains. "I can sit out here until your done." He replied.

"Can I just be left to die here?" Miranda asked.

"I don't think I want to shower with a human cat outside of it." Elizabeth said.

Lee entered Drams hospital room.

"No." Liquid replied. "Why do you want that?"

Rain purred and his ears popped out of his head. "It isn't that bad." He replied.

Dram was in critical condition.

Stahl moved over and smirked. "He has taken so much damage its insane he is still conscious." Stahl replied.

"I saved him after our chopper crashed into the I tower in sector 8." Olga replied softly.

"I just found out I have no parents!" Miranda exclaimed.

"I thought you said you didn't have a body." Elizabeth said.

---

"This is the second time since I have placed my daughter in his hands that he has let her almost die." Lee said.

"Does that truly matter?" Liquid asked. "It doesn't matter how you got here but what you do once you are here."

"Its ridiculously weak." Rain replied. "You could kill me."

---

Dram was sitting on the table. "Do you honestly believe I just let her go?" He asked.

"Of course it matters." Miranda frowned.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

"I believe you are far weaker than I first thought." Lee said.

"I was created without a mother or father but I changed the world. Does it really affect anything?" Liquid asked her. "Leaders of our past have had worst beginnings. What they did is make use of it."

"I can died easily in this state." He replied.

---

Dram smirked. "Only when I care." Dram replied. "On the battlefield I'm a completely different man. I didn't finish our last war with nuclear weapons like the cowards did." Dram stood at his feet. "I still can do my duty and I will see it through with your leadership."

"I'm demoting you." Lee said. "Once your strong enough, you will assist with the clean up. Nothing more."

"I get it." Elizabeth said.

"I'm not a leader, and I am not you." Miranda growled.

"Understood." Dram replied as he saluted and sat onto the bed.

He looked over the edge of the shower curtain. "Anyways... I'm not so sure why you are so embarrassed."

"I'm not asking you to be a tragedy. I'm asking you to be a success." Liquid replied sternly. "Every person has one chance to change this world and that only. Do you wish to leave a mark to benefit everyone or will you become greedy like your father?"

Lee nodded. "I don't know whats happening to my child, but whatever it is will be on your head." He turned and left the room.

Elizabeth threw some soap at his head.

"I just want to fade into the background." Miranda said. "I always have."

The old man nodded and walked with Lee. Olga grumbled and watched them leave. "I'll call Hykos... He should be the one healing you at the moment." Olga pulled out a radio.

Rain continued to peek and purred.

"Will that change anything?" He asked.

Elizabeth grabbed her razor and broke it. She took one of the sharp peices and pressed it to Rains throat.

""No, and I don't care." Miranda said.

"Do it." Rain asked. "And explain a dead body to your child."

"Why not?" Liquid asked.

"It'll be no harder than explaining a naked man in mummys shower." Elizabeth said. "And At least then I wont have to explain why he looks like a cat."

"Because I don't want to change anything! I want to pretend none of this ever happened. I want to go home and pretend that the accident never happened, and that I didn't take the damn elixer. I want to pretend that Dram and I are in a secret love affair. I want to pretend that I have a mother and father who love me. I just want to pretend to be normal for once in my godamn life!"

"Is that a bad thing?" His tail touched her cheek. He just purred teasingly. "I could wear your clothes if it bothers you that much." He replied.

Liquid stomped the fire out and looked at the horizon as it filled with stars. "So... Dram, huh?" He asked. "Why don't you tell me about that as we get out of here. I'll send you back but after a days work and I will save Dram's job."

The data in the disk Hykos had given Geoff began to buzz.
