When Elizabeth returned the cat was within Ariel's arms and purring delightfully.

The cars began to crash into each other and the shrieks and yells of pain matched the sounds of the crashes and burning. Liquid grinned. This was insane.

Elizabeths eyes widened. "How did it-?"

"Can we keep it Mum?" Ariel begged. "Oh please can we keep it?"

"No." Elizabeth said. "You know I hate cats."

Ariel pouted sadly. "Please Mum. Oh pretty please?" She fluttered her eyelashes. Elizabeth groaned. She always gave in when her child looked at her like that.

Miranda fell into unconciousness.

The cat purred and nuzzled Ariels cheek.

Liquid walked over to a nearby car and picked a pack of cigarettes up. He lit one with a nearby fire and walked over to Miranda as he inhaled deeply.

"She's a lightweight but she is something...."

He flicked the cigarette away and press his hand against her forehead and tried to heal any injuries he could and picked her up and headed out.

Miranda awoke a few hours later.

The cat flicked its tail against Ariels face.

Liquid handed her a tray filled with food. People were chatting outside and she lay on a bed within a spacious tent. The sounds of vehicles also passed by.

Miranda frowned softly as she sat up. "Where are we?"

"But don't keep touching it." Elizabeth grabbed the cat and put it on the ground. "We don't know where its been."

Ariel pouted.

"Its called Suereva but its also known as ground city." Liquid replied. "It was one of the first places hit when the war started." Liquid replied.

The cat looked up at Elizabeth and meowed.

Elizabeth kicked the cat slightly as she walked by to finish dinner.

The cat jumped back onto Ariels lap and nuzzled her face.

The cat seemed a bit scared after hearing that last word.

"Its okay, baths are fun." Ariel grinned.

The Chinese federation and League of nations are active here same with your father's CORE despot leadership. Don't worry though even though its tied with multiple groups this is a Sienta city." Liquid replied.

The cats ears flattened.

Ariel reached under the table.

"Well I can't say you aren't smart but after this it is up to you what you want to do." Liquid replied. "I promise to not interfere with you after that but I can't guarantee I won't interfere with this world."

The door too their house was blown away and a man stood there with a group of members aiming at the family. "This is General Radec of the Health District. You have been arrested for traitorous activity and housing an enemy against the state." The man wore a gas mask with red lenses that glowed darkly as he talked.
