Miranda just frowned at him.

Elizabeth rushed around and held onto her daughter tightly. "I have no idea what you are talking about." She growled. "The dictator will hear about this."

"You are just a bundle of joy aren't you?" Liquid asked.

"I am part of the dictators elite and I requested your arrest." Radec replied as his soldiers infiltrated the house.

"I could say the same about you." Miranda said.

"Please." Elizabeth said. She glanced at the cat and motioned her head towards it. "I have a child. We're not hiding anyone."

"I am happy with trying to make the best of a terrible situation but you just run from it." Liquid replied.

The cat jumped into Elizabeth and her hands began to burn. She turned and aimed her hands toward Radec and his troops and before they could aim a burst of fire erupted throughout the hall and emblazoned their enemies. Radec walked through the flames toward Elizabeth. "Run!!" Rain replied as he turned and grabbed Ariel.

"What have you done?!" Elizabeth snapped at Rain. "You are ruining our lives, for what?!"

Ariel screamed in terror.

"Its safer that way." Miranda said.

"I read his mind. You were placed on a Kill On Sight list." He began to share the information from Radec's mind too Elizabeth. "I am not going to be at fault." He replied.

"Why?" Liquid replied.

"If you had just left us alone..." Elizabeth shook her head. "This isn't what I wanted for my child." She pulled her girl into her arms and remained where she was.

"I don't need to answer that." Miranda said

"You need to escape!! I can give you a life exactly the same but you just need to escape now!!" Rain replied. "I will wipe their minds but I need to leave."

"Why not?" He asked.

"I can't." Elizabeth said. "i'm not going to run anymore. I can't run anymore."

"Because I don't." Miranda frowned. "Jesus, you're so pushy."

Rain picked Ariel up and began to run. Elizabeth could feel bullets penetrating her body but she was completely fine. As she rushed out the back Elizabeth fell onto a jaguar and it carried it across the streets as cars rushed pass.

"Fine. What do you want me too be?" Liquid asked.

Elizabeth fell into shock. What had just happened? She should be dead, shouldn't she? This was all... She closed her eyes and wished with all her might that it was just a bad dream.

"Someone who can leave me the fuck alone." Miranda stood from her bed and pushed her way outside.

Rain closed the door as he breathed heavily and walked into a dark home. A few candle lights were lit down the hall.

A woman walked forward and looked at Rain and her eyes widened. She helped placed the two in a large bed in a spacious room and set Rain onto a bed.

Whispers were exchanged onto the two.

Liquid grinned. "Shes a bit different."

Jiasca stood outside the tent and looked down as Miranda walked into her. She was a bit surprised to see her and kneeled in front of her.

"Are you with that man?" She asked sincerely.

She asked as she looked her over.

Miranda frowned deeper. "Well, he brought me here if thats what you're asking."

Elizabeth held her daughter close and sighed deeply. She never wanted this for her child at all. Not her precious little girl.

Jiasca smiled. "Don't worry I'm not as annoying as he is." She stuck her hand out. "I'm Jiasca."

"Don't worry you are completely safe here." Ari told Elizabeth. "You can stay here for as long as you want."

Rain growled and grumbled he had wounds all over his body.

"Take over my body rain. You can't live like this." Ari helped him too his feet.

"You'll die if I do it and I did my job. It isn't a war without casualties." Rain replied as Ari led him to a nearby bed and placed him down.

"Miranda." She took the other girls hand.

Elizabeth kissed her daughters temple. Ariel was shaking with fear and sobbing into her mothers chest

Ari walked back over to Ariel and eased her mind as her eyes glowed. She rid Ariel's mind of the memories of the men attacking her house and replaced them with Elizabeth taking her to meet with a distant 'aunt' named Ari. She than told Ariel's mind too sleep.

Ari than moved and looked at Elizabeth. "She should be fine and not remember what she saw. Its the best I could do for her."

Jiasca turned and looked at the bustling city before them. They were in a small camp on a hill which looked to be moving supplies and goods in and out of the cities walls. The city looked like a mix of the buildings of the past with some showing the intelligence of the structures they created before the war started. It gleamed as the sun shone upon it.

"Thank you so much." Elizabeth breathed as she looked up at the woman. She had her own tears in her eyes. "But what can I tell her as to why we can't return home?"

"Its actually quite beautiful." Miranda said as a soft smile spread over her lips.

"I have plenty of funds and I don't want to manipulate your daughters mind too much. I can be able to integrate you into any location you want and I believe there are some places that are havens from this war." Ari replied as she took out a bag of medicinal supplies and began to work on Rain. "Your daughter doesn't care where she lives as long as its close too you."

"Suereva... The first to be scarred but the first also to be healed." Jiasca smiled. "We have been working on this city for a while and its a place of goods and supplies. One of the few places with a river system that is clean and vegetation we grow that we trade among other cities.

She pointed towards a volcano at one end of the city which towered quietly.

"That has provided enough fertile soil to sustain plenty of food for our population and others. It isn't active anymore and has some minerals which we also mine."

Elizabeth stroked her daughters hair back. She sighed. "I thought we were finally getting back to a norm. Then He came in and ruined it all."

Miranda nodded. "Its a very good idea."

"You were going to be assassinated either way. The information gathered from his mind doesn't reveal that Radec wanted him at all." Ari replied.

"It is." Jiasca replied. "Most people are friendly here. Not a lot of people use weapons but they hire former CORE members and some Sienta units to protect them. We usually don't interfere with any of their politics." Jiasca replied.

"What did I do?" Elizabeth asked. 'I've only ever been faithful to the dictator."

"Usually?" Miranda questioned.

"Have you been faithful to the generals?" Ari looked at her questioningly. The dictator has very little control besides the people's hope. The armies are more dedicated to their generals than they ever were to the dictator." Ari replied as she began to heal Rain's wounds.

"Things happen that we must face." Jiasca replied. "You just can't sit by as people try to do what is wrong to benefit themselves. You must change that." She began to lead Miranda towards the city.

"I only followed the words of the leader." Elizabeths hands clentched. "But whatever the reason, and however they are, they have made a very powerful enemy."

"Now you're sounding like him." Miranda motioned back to the tent.

Ari smiled. "You don't believe they have enemies already?" Ari sprayed something on Rain's body. "I'm against what they are doing. They are only loosely tied with the dictator and if my intelligence is correct. He just made a terrible move and eliminated one fo the only generals from power who truly followed him. The rest have more military might than he believes and no soldier will truly follow him besides his police force but they are no might for armed elites."

"Don't worry I'm far from like him. The woman he betrayed was my mentor." Jiasca replied. "I understand that interfering isn't always the best answer and I just want peace. I only interfere here as much as I need too and even that is very little."

"But he has his own army that even his generals know nothing about." Elizabeth said. "And I have deep intel and knowladge on this."

"This place sounds like paradise." Miranda said. "I wish that the world didn't need to keep fighting. It is how it is. Its rearly those in control who die. Usually iots the innocents who go first."
