Elizabeth stood. "Then allow someone else the food." She turned and left the room.

"I know why people do." Miranda said.

Jin'ichi appeared in front of her. "I'm sorry. Something troubles you?"

"Why?" She asked.

"Yesterday I was one of the most pwerful women in the whole nation." Elizabeth said. "I knew I could offer a good life for my daughter, no matter what I went through. I knew she would be safe" She sighed. "Today I am on a 'kill on sight' list. I was leered at my some man who could enter my body and take control of it. I am in some unknown territory with people who seem to view me as a bug they would love to step on. What do you believe is troubling me?"

"There are so many reasons." Miranda laughed.

"A multitude of things." Jin'ichi replied as he led her to a balcony and showed her where she was. A city was before her with lights and bustling noises. It sounded busy even during the night time. The house or mansion that they were in sat nestled in a cliff overlooking the city. The stars seemed to shine back down over the metropolis.

"Having power that depends on ones who you can't trust is not having power at all." Jin'ichi replied. "I should know that since the monks at the temple fell foolishly over a corrupt doctrine. I believe your daughter to be completely safe here. This is a League of Nations city that once belonged to the Chinese Federation. They have no point in hunting you down and I believe you can explore it if you want tomorrow. Rain has begun to show signs of mental deterioration. He isn't as stable and normal as he once was and I'm sorry if he made you uncomfortable. I only hope to offer peace to your mind."

Jiasca smiled. "Well please don't do that with our food supplies because its a pain to get them ready to eat." She teased.

"The only peace I can have is knowing that my child will have a good life." Elizabeth said softly.

"Please. I hardly eat as it is."

"She will be." Jin'ichi replied and settled his back against the wall. "I promise you. I believe you should worry about yourself as well."

Jiasca poked her side. "Don't get too skinny."

"I don't matter." Elizabeth said. "After her father.... left, I swore that my life would be devoted to making her life good."

Miranda shrugged

"What happened?" Jin'ichi asked.

Jiasca looked at her. "Are you troubled?" She asked.

"He was abusive. He very nearly killed her one night, and then me." Elizabeth said. "I don't know what happened to him now."

"When arn't I?" Miranda laughed

"I'm not a man of violence but even that shouldn't be forgivable." Jin'ichi replied.

"Come on." Jiasca grabbed her hand. "Lets spar." She replied.

"We didn't forgive him." Elizabeth said. "Well, I didn't, but Ariel desperietly wants a male role model."

"Lets what?" Miranda asked.

Jin'ichi turned toward the stars. "Are you sure you don't want someone in your life as well?" He asked and turned towards her.

"We are going to train together. I want to see what you can do and you can release some stress. I'll go easy on you." Jiasca smiled.

Elizabeth sighed. "I wont deny that I miss parts of it, but I don't know if I can ever have that trust again."

"All I can do is this mind thing that leaves me knocked out." Miranda said.

"I say you should try." Jin'ichi replied.

Jiasca looked curiously. "What does it do?"

Elizabeth laughed softly. "Well, we'll see what the future holds then."

" Depends, it looks like it can actually cause peoples brains to melt. The last time I used it I tried something else and... time stopped around the targets." Miranda said softly.

"Don't five up on the future." Jin'ichi smiled. "I see that you take care of your future greatly." He referred to her daughter.

"Do you want to try it? You don't have too but if you believe you should control it feel free." Jiasca replied.

"I just want her to have the best life possible." Elizabeth said. "I still don't see how going into hiding is that life."

"It hurts too much. I feel like my brain is exploding." Miranda said. "I also don't want to because Liquid seems to think that its important."

"She can do whatever you like. We can take care of you for now and this whole city will be accessible too you." Jin'ichi replied. "I can find a new school for your daughter as well."

"So just because Liquid thinks its important you see it as a bad thing?" Jiasca asked. "You don't want too know about it yourself?"

"I am curious." Miranda nodded. "But I don' want to become better at it. He already only see's me as a tool in his cause."

Elizabeth laughed and shook her head. "You are much nicer than I first thought."

"Liquid sees that in all people unfortunately. He's afraid that if he actually cares he will get hurt again. Like when he did with Ari." Jiasca replied. "Well than. A good hand to hand fight can always be interesting."

Jin'ichi frowned. "I am a pacifist. I avoid violence and anger. I believe that is the reason Ari keeps me with Katsu. All I can do is try to prevent any unnecessary casualties. It's disgusting whats happened to him and I feel sorry for that but if it ever erupted to that point I'm not sure I could ever take him down." Jin'ichi replied and placed a glass of water to his lips. "I fear for my life and what Katsu would do afterwards."

Elizabeth nodded. "Perhaps I should try speaking with him as well."

"I'm not a tool to be used to his will." Miranda said. "And I am not like him. I don't care how he feels, he should at least have some god damn empathy towards human emotions. No one likes being used. No one."

"He wasn't like this." Jin'ichi replied. "When they forced him to become the greatest killing machine he has and with every kill he seems to get more powerful and bloodthirsty."

"How do you believe a clone which was used as a military and science experiment should feel? Should he feel compassion toward humans that kept him in cages or injected multiple things into his body? I don't agree with Liquid but I understand his pain. The reason he doesn't trust humans is because of what they have done and I believe only his student was ever close to gaining that trust."

"You have two options with that." E;izabeth said. "Reindortination, or we can create the killer into another personality."

"Not all humans are the same." Miranda said. "And I sure as hell didn't do that to him."

"Don't make him more violent." Jin'ichi raised an eyebrow. "I already am risking my life I don't want him to become worse. Katsu is what we fear Rain will become if he doesn't receive help."

"I understand." Jiasca tossed her a wooden sword. "Here, try this." She held her own wooden sword. "Try to hit me."

"They can both be helped." Elizabeth said. "It just maay take more time."
