"Because while I was beside him I thought I could ensure not only my safety, but my daughters as well." Elizabeth looked down at their hands.

"Easier said than done." Miranda muttered.

"Surrounding yourselves with a den of lions is hardly safe." Jin'ichi replied. "The Sienta are more like trained lions at least."

"Your insanely cranky. Does anything calm you down?" Jiasca replied as she tapped parts of Miranda;s body with the sword.

"A Lion is still a Lion." Elizabeth said.

"Sex does." Miranda said. "Sometimes."

"Do you see me as the others?" Jin'ichi touched the edge of her fingers.

Jiasca smiled. "You've been in many relationships?" She teased.

"Very little relationships." Miranda said. "A lot of sex."

"Not anymore." Elizabeth said

Jiasca smiled and began to lead her toward a tent. "Tell me what happened." Jiasca purred.

"Thank you." Jin'ichi smiled.

"Not much to tell." Miranda rubbed the back of her neck. "It was a way to get back at my father. I slept with anyone I saw giving me that look. Teachers, fellow students, soilders..."

Elizabeth nodded. "Its the power of speech. You can see how a person really is through it."

"Why were you getting back at your father?" She asked. "Why with all those people?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I usually remain silent unless I have to negotiate." Jin'ichi replied.

"He had my whole life planned out, right down to what I would name my child." Miranda said. "This was my way of showing him I still had control of something."

"So this was a negotiation?" Elizabeth asked. "I see..." She let go of his hand.

He laughed and caught her hand. "Sorry, thats not what I meant. I meant that usually besides freely talking too people I either remain silent or negotiate. I only talk too Ari or Katsu but you are much more refreshing too know."

"Well tell me about an experience." Jiasca replied as she led Miranda toward a bed.

"And why is that?" Elizabeth asked.

"Are you wishing for a replay?" Miranda rose an eyebrow.

"Things are dull without anything intriguing." Jin'ichi replied. "I find you intriguing."

"If you wish too." Jiasca began to lick her neck.

"Its tempting." Miranda said. She placed her hand against Jaiscas chest. "But I'm not in the mood."

"I'll take that as a compliment." Elizabeth said.

"I thought you were willing if anyone gave you the 'look'." Jiasca teased.

"It is." Jin'ichi pressed his back against the wall.

"I have no need to. Currently, I am free of my father." Miranda said.

Elizabeth nodded and looked back towards the sky.

"So you did so only out of rebellion of your father?" Jiasca purred and laid next to her. "Why didn't you just do it for yourself? Why do you want to return to him than?"

Katsu appeared behind them. "We are all heading to bed. As usual I will keep watch all night." Katsu replied and disappeared as quickly as he came.

"Because I don't want anyone getting hurt." Miranda sighed.

Elizabeth blinked in confusion.

"Mankind must put an end to war or war will put an end to mankind." Jiasca smiled. "One of my favorite quotes."

"Katsu is just making sure nothing goes awry. He doesn't sleep and for some period during this time he is much calmer. I guess its a different way for him to rest." Jin'ichi replied.

"Then why are we finding that means by adding more war to the mix?" Miranda asked.

Elizabeth nodded. "I don't think I can sleep either."

"I guess it makes things more interesting... We humans are only part of a fraction of a dot. We believe we are the most important things amongst this universe but we barely matter at all... The only reason we hate war is because we can't get along because of politics, religion, skin color or even gender. Something always divides us but this world began without humans and will continue to do so afterwards." Jiasca replied.

"Why not?" Jin'ichi questioned. "Katsu won't bother you."

"You make it sound like we need war." Miranda muttered darkly.

"Too much has happened." Elizabeth said.

"No I wish we wouldn't need it but I'm saying its as much a part of us as any religion, government system or skin color is too people..." Jiasca replied. "My family was in the middle of the last war. I'm the last one of it." She replied as her radio buzzed. "Well if you don't want to have any fun I have some more work but I can give you this." She handed her a radio. "My channel is 22475. No one ever gets that high." She replied. "You can just simply press the red button on the bottom to immediately contact me." She smiled.

"Things will happen. Just be lucky those actions didn't put you or your child's life to an end. Things are getting more dangerous and I must get too my target before long." Jin'ichi muttered.

Miranda nodded. "Thanks." She took the radio.

"Who is your target?" Elizabeth asked.

"Lee." Jin'ichi replied shortly. He knew she wouldn't approve and din't dare look into her eyes. It was what he was assigned and even though he knew she wouldn't agree with it he had to do it.

"A Chinese Federation convoy is spotted outside the city. Should we engage or try to send a messenger?" The voice in the radio cackled.

"Are they trying to close off our trade route?" She responded.

"I don't know but its far larger than they usually bring. I'll be right out with snipers on my trail. They seem to be coming toward the city at a ridiculous speed."

"Better assasians have tried." Elizabeth scoffed.
