RP Place of RP

The men were carrying chains that connected to multiple Keidran. They began to lead them to each cage and ushered as many in before moving on too the next.

"Oh my god." Miranda breathed when she saw what was happening. She found Euchre's hand and held onto it tightly.

Euchre wrapped his fingers around hers. His thoughts raced and he desperately wished he could take all their years a burden it upon himself. He soon realized what was happening. "These chambers are where they incinerate them..." He whispered.

"We can't let that happen." Miranda said.

"We won't win..." He replied. "I've tried before." He replied sadly.

"You didn't have me." Miranda told him.

"I'm not allowing you to do that again." He warned.

"If I don't they will be killed, and who knows if we'll follow." Miranda told him. She stood up.

"Please, let me try to think of something." He replied.

"By the time you come up with something, they could already be dead." Miranda said.

Euchre looked at her and than turned and began too run toward the men. He wasn't going to allow her too hurt herself and if he created enough of a distraction she could rescue them.

"Euchre!" Miranda cried out at him as she ran out of their hiding place.

The men turned as they heard the shout and immediately Euchre swiped at one of the mens faces. The man screamed and stumbled backwards and before another could pull a taser he knocked him down as well.

Miranda rushed over to the cages and started to open them, using her mind to blow the doors open.

The Keidran looked at her frightened and didn't know what to do.

Euchre felt the sting of a shock against his back and he turned and broke the mans neck.

"Help!" Miranda snapped at them

They were either old, weak or young and flinched at her voice.

"Don't blame them! Get them out! I'm stronger than I look!" He replied as he leaped into another mans chest and ripped a gash along his shoulder.

"I'm not blaming them!" Miranda snapped at him. "But I'm not letting you die either and I can't do my mind voodoo because I'm already bleeding!" And she was. her nose, and even her eyes had blood running from them.

Euchre turned and looked at her and a man raised from behind him and raised a gun to his back.

"no!" Miranda closed her eyes tightly, and focused on making the mans explode. She thought of the blood vessels inside a mans brain and caused everyone to expand and then explode.

As she closed her eyes a deafening crash was heard behind her and a gunshot. She heard some people scream and heard a bit of scuffling.

Liquid scuffled out of the vehicle and pushed a dead boy off his lap. He kicked out the door and coughed violently. He than turned his gaze on Miranda.

Euchre felt a bit of blood from his neck from the bullet that grazed him. The sensation burned and he instinctively grabbed his neck.

Miranda turned and looked at him. "Liquid..." She breathed as she tried to wipe the blood from her face.

Liquid smirked as the car behind him collapsed under its weight. He walked over and as one of the slavers moved he kicked the man unconscious. "Hell has been happening outside. I'm lucky enough to realize whats been happening and it isn't well. The League of Nations has put this city under siege. Currently I still have ties to the outside so currently it isn't strict but it isn't enough to move people to safety." He check the unconscious slaver. "I don't agree with this savage form of slavery and wish it to be abolished. Unforunately since the city is under siege the civilians are already being frightened of being short on food and wish to save rations. Killing the weakest of the Keidran would double the food for the rest. This city is a trade route and not very self sustaining. You should understand their fear and it is definitely troublesome." Liquid began to clean his Deagle as he pulled the keys from the guard and began opening a few cages. "We do have good news. It seems that the ground to air missiles they were going to use on our city have malfunctioned and I have taken advantage by sending any of my espionage troops to make sure it doesn't get repaired. So currently we will be safe but I'm sure we might break into war among ourselves and the League will just walk in without a single casualty."

Miranda helped the Keidran from their cells. She offered them what comfort and medical care she could.

"Don't worry about cover. I have detained as many slavers as I could and am trying to gain control of the districts before any riots appear. A few have already happened and I am surprised you are not more hurt. Although it looks like you had to use your powers." Liquid replied as he helped and began to call for evacuations for the Keidran.

Euchre helped as well and made sure the younger ones didn't see the bodies on the ground.

One of the bodies was completely headless and still held the picture in its grip as blood oozed slowly from its spinal cord.
