"Do you think that lowly of me?" Jin'ichi laughed. "Remember I keep a blind murderer near me at all times. I believe I'm more to suffice at this challenge." Jin'ichi revealed a scythe to her. "I am known as the grim reaper since I kill injustice."

"Don't shoot but try to stop them." Jiasca replied and looked at Miranda. "Try to keep trust into humans. Its the least we can do."

"Now I feel like I have entered a childs cartoon." Elizabeth folded her arms and looked at him. "You can try, but Lee will be expecting it more than you know."

Miranda nodded.

Jin'ichi laughed. "I can certainly try. Katsu is helping me as well."

"They have children aboard." The voice replied. "We have recently talked to one of the drivers and they have informed us that the league of nations has attacked a nearby city."

Jiasca frowned. "Get all LON members under arrest and try to contact any of our members of neighboring cities." She replied.

Elizabeth scoffed. "Well, good luck then."

"Why are you doing that?" Miranda frowned.

"I will be fine." He smiled. "Not dying anytime soon."

"If the Chinese Federation is correct we don't want an attack by any league of nations members. Don't worry they aren't detained just looked after." She replied.

Miranda rolled her eyes and stood. She left the tent.

Elizabeth nodded.

Jin'ichi smiled. "I'll show you what the Sienta are made of." He grabbed her by the waist and jumped down the front of the manor and down the cliff. He held her tightly as he used his scythe to slide down a cable towards the city below.

The ruckus of trucks and soldiers moving were spreading around the tent. Liquid was tending too a box of filled syringes and ordered them to be moved. A soldier came out of the tent wearing an old Core uniform. He gave Liquid a glanced as he was pushed along to be checked.

There was also a man resting in a cage reading a book. He wore glasses and seemed to be in a happy moved despite his chains. He was pale but had blue markings that matched his air.

At another end of the road was a man messing with what seemed like a very lifelike machine. He was messing with it and cursing wildly.

"Oh my god!" Elizabeth held onto him tightly. She buried her face into his neck.

Miranda frowned softly as she watched. She walked down and stood by the man in the cage.

Jin'ichi held onto her as he ran along the edge of the rooftops showing her the streets below bustling in business and trade. "What do you like to eat?" He asked as he jumped another onto another cable and began to slide down that as well.

The man turned a page and looked down at her and smiled. He was skinny and lean. He seemed a little weary but it seemed to be from something else rather than war. The cage and shackles didn't seem to agitate him. "You don't seem very happy." He referred to her frown and returned to his book.

"I don't believe I could stomach anything." Elizabeth gasped.

"And you do." Miranda said. "Why the chains?"

"I'm a Keidran, a slave." He replied and pointed to his markings. "It isn't necessarily the worst I've been in." He gave her a sincere smile. "I feel like I have a luxurious mansion and pool." He pointed at his cage and at the glass of water. "You needn't worry of me but I'm wondering why a person like you is displeased. Aren't you Lee's daughter?" He replied nonchalantly and returned to his book.

Jin'ichi smiled and slowed at the edge of some buildings. The smell of food was everywhere. "You sure?" He replied. "Just pick the area you believe smells best besides my neck." He replied as he placed her at the edge of the buildings but held her.

Dram messed with the wrappings around his body. He looked at his IV tubes and questioned his loyalty toward Lee. He had once been the best general in the world and now was brought down once again. He wasn't sure if he could stand it but he believe it was still better that the alternatives. Well it was what he thought.

Kill hated his prison. It was bland and nothing changed. They hadn't laid a hand on him and he didn't expect much else. They were beginning to annoy him.

Huluhot smiled as his district aided Dram's former district in keeping order and restoring it. He had messaged Lee earlier if he could take over Dram's old district and maintain it at least until its repairs were finished. He poured personal funds into the district as well to stimulate the economy. The least Lee could do was reward him but Huluhot had prepared for the worst as well.

Xiam walked around the tables as he eyed each of the Eunuch's. He was disgusted by them. Even though he was emperor he lacked the military and economical powers they possessed. All he could do was try to represent the people's voice but as the largest of all the nations it was very hard to do so. He felt the people pulling apart.

He sat at his chair and looked over documents. Lee's city had been hit multiple times. It surprised him that Lee would be so careless but even with an iron grip Lee was beginning to slip. The generals like the Eunuchs had power but Lee definitely had a say. The Eunuch's had always constantly asked him to invade Lee's country every day after the separation of the countries. With this recent display of weakness... The Eunuchs had begun annoying him again. He simply folded the documents and ignored their bickering.

As he looked at the photos which were retrieved, all from civilians near the attack. They were all clumsily made and shaky but he could take some details from it and one surprised him. The ways the explosion had erupted had reminded him of the V2 explosives that the Chinese had tried to hide and confiscate after the collapse of the U.N. for its own use. Why and how could they be within Lee's territory? As he studied the photographs he knew that the explosives were like V2 but seemed unstable by the different variations of the fire.

What is this? He questioned.

"Because, even though I am lee's daughter, I am being held captive here." Miranda muttered darkly. "And all so one fucktard can use me as a weapon!" Miranda snapped in Liquids direction.

"Oh god." Elizabeth closed her eyes. She didn't do well with heights.

Ayama appeared in his cell every day. She offered him drinks, food and games of chess. They couldn't kill him, but they couldn't let him go either. He knew where they were. That was too dangerous.

Lee felt like shooting someone. No, he felt like ringing their necks. No, he felt like causing them the most pain possible. Someone was attacking his city, and his city alone. His generals were doing nothing to stop or prevent these attacks. He was so close to having all his Generals executed and starting again from scratch.

Actually, that wasn't such a bad idea. He did, already, have a replacement...

The man laughed. "I just believe he doesn't like too have a loose cannon on the field." The man turned to her. "My name is Euchre." He held out a hand through the bars.

Before she could react Liquid hit his hand with a baton.

Euchre pulled it back instantly and rubbed it.

"Be careful of him. He is in a cage for a reason." Liquid mumbled as he walked off.

The man rubbed the back of his head. "Don't worry I won't physically touch you." He returned to his book. "But I believe that even compared too me, my cage is nothing to your chains." The man picked up his book. "And even if you returned to your father you wouldn't necessarily be free." The man whispered.

Jin'ichi held her tightly by the waist. "Don't worry, look again." They were among the streets with people chattering and street performers passing them. Spitting fire or swallowing swords. "Welcome to town square."

Kill waited for Ayama's routinely appearance. It was the only thing he could look forward too and he decided to have more than just a game of chess. She had been nice to him and besides a few more trials of trying to kill him they seemed bored. He was surprised they hadn't studied him like others had. He decided he could talk or at least warn them if they continued to hold him.

"Don't let your anger lead you." The old man broke the silence. He was the man that had greeted Lee and Dram at the infirmary. He seemed to have appeared from nothing and the only noise that came from him was from the breathing tubes entering his nostrils.

"Murdering us would only reveal to your enemies that it is a perfect time to attack. With the Chinese Federation twice as large and the League of Nations retaining the most technology of the last wars. Your only advantage is in war veterans." The man seemed to have known what Lee was thinking of and as the man talked he walked over too his desk.

The old man placed a number of large explosives on Lee's desk. The old man dismissed that any were dangerous and revealed to Lee that this was technology of the last war and that they believed they were disarming several more in other districts.

"Don't believe we are all against you." The old man coughed. "Members like Radec and Nine are deathly devoted to you. Stahl at times shows his pride rather than intelligence and even though I agree with you removing power from Dram. He still follows you like a loyal servant." The old man walked toward the large window at the end of Lee's room.

"Be careful Lee. Even though some of us supported your Marshall law some have begun loosening it to make the people happy. To keep them under control... To have less worry... But its allowed this too happen." He looked at the giant smoke clouds that covered parts of the city.

"As for other good news... You have exceeded my expectations entirely." The old man smiled.

"I want to tighten the hold." Lee said. "I have a plan to ensure I know where every being is at every time."

"I'm just trying to figure out which is better." Miranda whispered. She placed her hand through the bars. "I would like to shake your hand. I am Miranda."

Elizabeth opened her eyes slowly. She looked around in awe. "This place is beautiful... Its like something out of a story."

Ayama entered the room, bringing a tray. "Bread and water today. We're running low on rations." She then proceeded to swear for awhile about the injustice of food prices.

"The more you tighten your grip the more that people will slip through your grasp." The old man replied. "I know full well of people with total control." The old man looked at the numbers marked on his arm and turned toward Lee. "As the overseer of the economic district I know of the funds and where you have been spending it. Another army? Do you really not trust us Lee?" The old man coughed not caring for the answer.

"Euchre." He said his name again and happily shook her hand lightly and made sure not too touch her too long. His hand was quite cold but revealed a caring touch. "I believe you will make the right choice but try to think it through." He replied as he turned to a specific page in the history book and revealed it too her. "Making the wrong decisions can lead to catastrophic events." It was a picture of the past wars and generals attacks on innocent civilians and cities and the insane prison centers that innocent people were held at.

"I'm happy to not have lived through that tragedy but I fear another will begin again." Euchre pressed his back against his cage and looked up at the ceiling of it. "I believe Liquid is interested in anyone he can use too end it quickly. Unlike before its more of a game of chess and seeing who can prepare the best before they strike. It could all end in one blow but if anything fails it will drag on longer than our lives." He closed his eyes.

"Its always been a city of entertainment." Jin'ichi smiled as a giant festival dragon costume was paraded down the street with its performers. "You seem a lot happier with the city now." He replied as they passed some stands and restaurants selling strange and exotic food.

"Its fine. I can last a while without anything." He replied as he took the tray. "Anything else happening on the outside?" He asked and raised an eyebrow.

"No more bombs for awhile." Ayama said as she sat down. She took a bite of his bread.

"I only trust myself." Lee said.

Miranda smiled. "I like you."

Elizabeth moaned. "That smells so good!"

"Why do you keep me here? You haven't studied me or tried to

"I warn you. People like Liquid do as much damage as they can because they can trust in what they believe you will do. Trusting in yourself can betray you and as I've seen it looks as if your daughter is a grave weakness." The man turned and looked at Lee. "And Liquid trusts that your belief in her will make you lose."

He opened his eyes a bit surprised. "Thats a bit surprising. I warn you that you shouldn't like a slave." He smiled. "I'm here simply to be sold again once this situation between the League of Nations and Chinese Federation is resolved." He replied and looked at the tag wrapped around his wrist. He bit it jokingly. "Hopefully I won't go cheap."

"Well your welcome to pick and choose what you'd like." He replied and pulled multiple bills from his pocket.

"Why should we?" Ayama looked at him confused. "We're assasians, not scientists. We just can't let you leave because you know where we are."

"I already thought of that." Lee smiled darkly. "And I've already a plan."

"Why are you a slave?" Miranda asked. She sat with her back against the cage.

"I'm not letting you pay." Elizabeth said.

"Why would I rat you out? You have a large bounty?" He raised an eyebrow. "I'm beginning to believe I'm much more than something. You could have tried to starve me to death if you really wanted me dead. Although that would still be a long time." He took a piece of her bread and ate it. Is there anyway I can join? I fought for the Sienta for a while and I've been a rogue for quite some time."

"I warn you. My time here is short but I plan to leave a mark." The old man man smirked. "So what is your idea?" The man messed with his oxygen tubes.

"My people are considered animals and before this war we fought against our neighbors the Basitin. When the global war broke out we had nothing to fight back with. We were taken advantage of and a large amount of my people died. I'm afraid of my species going extinct since we don't have a population large enough to sustain it." He looked at her. "What happened to me personally to get into this situation was to go freely to save my mother and siblings. After losing the wars our lands were so ravaged and no country offered help that the only way to feed my mother and siblings is to sell myself into slavery. I've had a number of masters and am preparing to be sold again. I'm glad my species has a long life and I'm still considered young in my species. People only want males for work or intellectual studies and females for caretaking or breeding. I would never have sold my mother as a breeder and she should take care of my siblings like she did me..." He closed his eyes again and kept a peaceful face. "Sorry." He said silently. "At least I wasn't sold as a breeder." He joked lightly.

"I'm treating you and besides, I nearly gave you a heart attack earlier." He led her to a stand with a large variation of food.

"Whats good here?" Elizabeth asked.

"Sounds like a crap life." Miranda said. "Sounds like mine, only differencce is, is my cage is designed with luxery, while yours is actually a cage."

"None of your busniess is what." Lee said.

---

"We still don't trust you." Ayama said.

"Everything. This city and its people have been working on delicacies for generations." Jin'ichi smiled and showed her things from spicy noodles too barbecue and sushi. "Everything is cheap so don't worry enjoy everything and I'll make sure to get something for your daughter." Other people were enjoying themselves as well moving along from stand to stand and all enjoying food from people who looked very rich and wealthy to farmers and workers.

"I can deal with it." He smiled as a furry tail tapped her nose. "And I believe you can make the best of it as well."

A man walked past and looked at Miranda sitting next to the cage. "Are you looking into buying a slave?" He asked.

"You still act childish with your anger and ideals and that is a massive flaw Lee. Do you honestly believe that acting unprofessional will yield professional results?" The man raised an eyebrow. "If there is anything else you want me too accomplish you can ask. I do not fail tasks but that is because I know what I can and can't accomplish."

"Why not? I haven't attacked you, I've remained cooperative and am willing to wait to see what you will do. You already told me your assassins so what is it your trying to accomplish that you need to hide? You have no interest in letting me go so you might as well let me in on what you do." Kill asked.

"We're an order of sorts." Ayama said. "We're the best of the best. Guns for hire in a way." She sighed. "If you need someone killed, we know how to do it. If you need it done bad enough, you'll be able to find a representative on top."

"I'm saying that its none of your busniess, because even though I have advisors I still have plans and secrets that are my own." Lee said. "You do not need to know every detail, should a time come where you do need to know, I will tell you. Until then, you and everyone else will remain in the dark."

Miranda smiled at the man in the cage before looking to the man walking past. She gave him a slight look. "Sadly, I have no money on me."

"You pick." Elizabeth said. "I can't choose."

"You don't seem very excited." He poked her curiously. "Why'd you join them?" He asked as he drank some water. "You could probably ask the Sienta for rations and help if you are that afraid of being exposed. A man by the name of Liquid would definitely offer the help as well."

"Keeping people blind leaves them weak." The man murmured. "I strongly advise against that." He moved around the room again. "I will cut to why I am here. I believe I know where your daughter is but I cannot recommend fetching her. I ordered people to locate her and as soon as I can confirm its her I will send people to retrieve her. Its a delicate process and I have to take cautions to not provoke a war. I hope you understand and I believe I shouldn't tell you of her location until I am certain and have her in my custody."

The man backed away. "Your Liquid's girl..." The man tossed her the keys to the cage and a leash. "Just tell him to keep away from my business and I will stop irking him." He referred to Liquid. "I must warn you though. I would recommend a female. Male Keidran are a bit harder to control and their feral urges can be irritating."

Jin'ichi picked a few of everything. He chose a very large plate for two and a variety of noodles and exotic seafood's like squid and mussels. He gave the vendor a large sum of money and spoke a foreign language. The man thanked him generously and he picked a small table for them to eat at and handed her a few eating utensils and placed the plate between them.

He picked a but of pieces of chicken and barbecued pork. "Enjoy." He smiled.

"We have worked well enough." Ayama said. "We don't want to engage in this war, but know well enough we can't avoid it. So we enter where we must, get paid for it and are usually left well enough alone."

Lee smirked. "Of course, do with her what you will."

"You've seen nothing until you've seen my feral urges." Miranda replied to the man. "Be off with you, we have made our deal."

"Thank you, this is very kind." Elizabeth smiled as she began to eat.

"So if you aren't worried than why care if I'm free or not? It seems like you are doing fine and you know I wasn't hunting you down." He reminded her. "At least tell me what you are trying to accomplish now." He asked.

"I'll speak with the other generals than. Radec is perfecting his poison and Olga will get her new tech up and ready for disposal. The Arma units should be up." The old man walked toward the doors.

Euchre watched as the man left and raised his eyebrow at Miranda. "You weren't the master I was expecting... Luckily, Liquid doesn't like slavers but I believe he doesn't like my kind as well." Euchre pressed his forehead against the bars. "What did you mean your feral urges? I've only started to recently study humans. They are much more of a warring species than anything else."
