RP Place of RP

Miranda groaned as she held her head. She was in so much pain now. Blood dripped from her nose and ears.

"No need to do that." Liquid replied to Miranda. "We have worse problems than that."

Miranda gave him a small smile

"Just rest for now. Whoever hacked had to be close and is most likely a traitor." Liquid replied.

Miranda stood slowly and wavered slightly. "Where can I rest?"

Liquid bit into his hand and poured a few droplets on her. Her blood began to dry up. He than tossed her a few tablets and water. "If your anything remotely close to my DNA sequence than your physical wounds should be fine but I can't do much with headaches but give you pills."

"Can you maybe not do that?" Miranda frowned about the blood. "Just a thought."

"I'm made of a complicated heavy water substance. Its technically not blood." Liquid replied. "I wouldn't recommend drinking the substance though."

"It came from your body, don't put it on me." Miranda said simply.

"Fine but it is no threat to you." Liquid repeated as he inspected the scorch marks.

Ïts still a bit gross." Miranda said.

Liquid smirked. "Could save your life." He replied as he surveyed the wreckage. The flames suddenly sprang again with greater force.

Miranda swore loudly. "What the fuck is going on?"

"Someone I strongly dislike is here." Liquid replied.

"Is this about your girlfriend?" Miranda asked.

"I am not devoted to personal relationships and I've luckily avoided her as of now. Although that does not make me immune to others." Liquid replied.

"So, who is it then?" Miranda asked.

"I've made many enemies. It should be a bit difficult to single out one." Liquid replied.

Miranda sighed. "Then you don't know your enemies very well."

"Well its not who is my enemy but which one is trying to kill me at the moment. Even if I try to pick out my opponent they may try to use others against me. Its a double sided sword but its not important about who but what they have at their disposal." Liquid replied and covered his face as flames licked at them. A few things rolled from the flames toward them and began to unfold. As they freed themselves their spindly legs hoisted their bodies into the air and screeched at them. It seemed like a mound of flesh with mouths and numerous eyes glared at them. Several immediately began to circle around them as others stood their ground. Their bodies were the size of grapefruit and legs as thin as fingers.

"Never seen these in a while."

"And I take it they're not very good." Miranda reached out and held onto Euchre's arm tightly.

Liquid fired a few shots at the creatures as they screeched and growled at them.

Euchre pulled her away as they neared them.

"Never knew that people were still pursuing these types of projects." A soldier replied as he tossed a few automatic firearms at Euchre and Miranda.

"What are they?" Miranda asked as she held the gun.

"They are from the same place that created me. During the end of the war. Things got desperate." Liquid replied as he hit one and it screeched as it erupted and splattered blood over Liquid.

Liquid cursed as it burned his hand and rapidly tried to remove it.

Euchre fired at another and shielded Miranda from its blood.

Miranda held onto him tightly and closed her eyes. Things were going crazy.
