Ayama frowned at him. "You seem to forget that there isn't only assassians here. There is their wives, husbands, mothers, fathers and children. All who have been hurt by this war. We need to protect tem as much as ourselves. We cant ever know for certain if you will turn around and rat us out, now can we?" She pulled out a packet of ciggerttes. "Want one?" She asked.

Lee nodded. "Alright, I'll speak with you later."

Miranda lent against the bars as well and pressed her forehead to his. "I'm not like other humans." She breathed. "And there is something about you I like. Something that doesn't deserve to be hidden behind bars."

"I can understand way." Elizabeth exclaimed as she took a bite of the food."This is amazzing!"

"If your going to hold me indefinitely can you at least tell me why you are so secretive?" Kill snapped his fingers and held a flamed out for her. "I didn't believe this is the way I would end my life." He replied.

Vorkuta left the room and waived a hand as the doors closed. Before Lee could get a break of silence Olga stormed into the room. She made no effort to hide her displeasure. "I thought we were done with Marshall Law. Why are you reverting everything back? Things were fine and I can prove that the person who set off the explosives wasn't among our people. You shouldn't punish them for this." Her eyes stared into his with controlled ferocity. She brushed her light hair back and rested a hand against the number of revolvers that were tied to her hip.

"Well you make me curious." He smiled and pulled away. "Usually my new masters warn me not to eat their children." He joked. "I promise to keep my cage clean but I warn you that I dislike leashes." He replied as he lifted his book from the ground. "I warn you that I'm nothing but a normal slave. I can tell you aren't a normal human. Even without Liquid you hold great power. My only worry is why somene so important is talking with me." He flipped to a random page in his book.

Jin'ichi smiled and offered her more. "Please eat. I don't like any of our guests to starve. So may I ask more about your life?" Jin'ichi gathered some noodlies with his fork.

"While you are with me you will have no cage, and have no leesh. You will be given a bed and be treated as my equal." Miranda said. "You will be my protector in a way."

"Its not a punishment, its for their own protection!" Lee snapped. "And you will still your tongue before I have it removed. Your 'people' have allowed too many explosives pass by them unnoticed, that is enough for me to bring forth another creed."

"I am secretive for mine, and everyone elses protection." Ayama said.

"What else is there to tell?" Elizabeth asked.

He smiled and looked through the cage. "I'm glad you accept my kind but I don't believe others will be so caring." He replied and pressed his fingertips against hers.

"We aren't perfect and you aren't as well. Maybe if we transferred funds into defense instead of you insane gourmets fests that we might be able to control efficiently. Having private military contractors are expensive and we don't have enough to cover all places we just use them in the most vulnerable." Olga replied.

Kill nodded. "I will have to get going soon and won't be able to remain here for long."

"Well who are you, yourself?" Jin'ichi asked.

"Why is it you can't touch people?" Miranda asked.

"There is more than enough money, In have checked." Lee said. "There is even some left over, and now you are coming to tell me you need more? Where is it all going?"

Ayama lit her ciggerette and inhailed. "And why is that?" She asked.

"I'm a woman, who grew up in a respectible family, went to a respectable school, had a respectable job..." Elizabeth trailed. "I don't know what else to say."

"My people left a deep schism between us." He replied. "I don't believe you have felt it but men like Liquid and your father have reasons to despise us. I wish my people weren't as easilly angered like your people. Though I'm curious of the feral urges you were talking about. Your people hate to refer to themselves as animals and believe they have more in common with Gods than other living creatures." He looked around the cage. "I will be your protector and sacrifice my life for yours. I'm not as adept in combat as a full adult male but I believe I can remove you from any danger." He smiled.

Olga smiled. "I'll tell you the truth. I've been giving rations and necessities too the people. Offering things like clothing and equipment for crops and planting. I'm here for the people and I can't see them being neglected. My district is one of the few that has open medical services for any individual and the highest standard of living. I believe with my statistics we can make a better city for everyone." She replied. "I understand it isn't cheap and some of the first things I have cut were my own military forces, buildings and luxuries. My men are also some of the toughest in the group. I only have a few battalions but they are strict, precise and deadly and with a few I can kill plenty more than the other generals ever could." She finished. "I'm preparing for a society we can live in. You should as well Lee."

"War is coming. Its obvious and I need to fight in it." Kill replied and began to burn markings into the floor. "I can't stand here and do nothing that isn't me. I'm meant to fight and die that is what I was created on doing and fulfilling. I'm hoping to understand more, topple governments, have the victory I should have had before." He replied. "Not wait here."

"Who are you now?" Jin'ichi asked looking into her eyes.

"I just like you." Miranda smiled. "You don't have to lay down your life for me, just kind of be there. Like a friend."

"So, what are you suggesting there, Olga?" Lee asked.

"You want to die?" Ayama asked.

"I'm waiting and seeing." Elizabeth said.

"Thank you for freedom." He replied. "I do owe you my life."

"That you need to run more efficiently. What you waste on the rich is insane. As a person raised from the bottom. I am tired of helping the top." She replied.

"What else does a being who can't die want?" He asked.

"Waiting for what?" He asked.

Miranda smiled and opened his cage.

"I do it, because the Rich all have things I need." lee said. "That we all need, and for anything to change would mean for them to lose money."

Ayama nodded. "True that."

"To see." Elizabeth said.

He stumbled out and caught his step. "Sorry, I haven't walked in a while." He smiled and moved his chains together. "So why do you like Keidrans?" He asked as he stretched.

"They only own worthless paper we place value in and minerals like gold or silver which are practically useless. I say we spread the wealth and focus on things we need like iron to help rebuild parts of this city." She replied. "They are wild hogs that don't deserve what they have and I will cut them off of any services I provide." She mumbled.

"Well why have you been so nice too me?" He asked.

"To see what?" He asked as he picked a small part of the squid.

"You need to remember that this is a different world to the one you grew up in." Lee told her. "I can understand you wanting to change the world, but this is the way it is. The rich own everything, yes including iron, and in order to gain what we need, we need to show them that we can control it to their liking, get it?"

Miranda shrugged as she removed the chains. "I have never met one before."

"Because I can." Ayama said.

"To see who I really am." Elizabeth frowned. "Stop asking so many questions and try to understand the answer, would you?"

"I'll strip there power away." She growled.

His eyes perked up. "Where do you come from? I thought you were with Liquid. If you have you should have seen my kind in droves." He replied. "We don't have the best reputation and our culture is strange compared to humans and yet you like me?"

"I know you can but you don't have too." He replied. "Than again I have not much too look forward too."

"I understand. I'm not sure you do." He replied and sipped a glass of water. Jin'ichi froze as a quiet rumbling shook around them. It stopped as soon as it started and people looked around to make sure nothing serious had happened.

"I think you're getting to big for your boots." Lee said. "Keep it up and you'll see more than your title, land and money stripped away."

"I come from the city, and from a very sheltered life." Miranda said. "I didn't met many different cultures."

"You look forward to our meetings?" Ayama smirked.

Elizabeth stood. "What was that?"

"You could never rob me of my skills and intelligence. I only see this as a job I need to accomplish. If I really cherished my title I wouldn't have had talked with you. Money and land will never be anyone's forever and I don't dwell on the finite." She replied as she closed the door behind her. She stormed out of the building. She hated the fact the rich gained everything and she believed she was even more on edge with Dram's disposal.

He smiled and rubbed his wrists. "I'm surprised you unchained me. Usually takes months for my masters too trust me and remove those." He brushed off his ragged clothes and looked at her. "Well like your people we have multiple cultures. We use face paint and markings to tell where we came from and what our profession. It makes things simple when you just want too not basic things about our people." He replied.

Liquid glanced at Miranda. 'Of course she would buy a Keidran with my influence.' He grumbled and turned back

"What else can I look forward too? You stopped me from blowing up Xiam's palace and the League of Nations counsel chamber. Now those explosives are going to age and become unstable." He replied. "They should be erupting soon."

Jin'ichi quickly wrapped the food and grabbed her by the hand as the grumbling sound began again and the people began to panic. "Lets hope its not what I fear it to be." Jin'ichi replied.

Lee went to the phone and made a single call. A call that would end that womans life. her ideals were too dangerous for her to run free.

"I also unchained you because I knew it would piss Liquid off." Miranda smiled. "I can be a bit of a brat."

"What could it be?" Elizabeth asked.

Olga didn't care if Lee fired her. She wasn't a person that liked being used and definitely not in a way she liked. She wasn't afraid of him. She carried more firearms on her person than all the generals combined. She looked at Tue revolvers that covered her body. Some were running down to her boots while two others were strapped to her back and hips. She could shoot off enough bullets to massacre a small chunk of the city. She walked out and was accompanied by a few guards. They walked her too her helicopter.

"I believe you could have left me in chains and it would have still angered him. I think one of my kind nearly ripped his arm off. He doesn't have any prejudice against us, he just keeps a watchful eye. Female Keidran are known to be quite fiesty." He rubbed the back of his head. "A brat? Why are you trying to anger him?"

"Not really... Do you happen to have the time?" He asked.

"I'm worried what happened to your city will be the fate of this one." He replied as the grumbling grew louder.

"Because he angered me." Miranda said. "I don't want to be apart of this war, and he's trying to force me. I just wish to go home."

Ayama looked at her watch. "9:38."

"Why?!" Elizabeth asked, growing paniced.

"Force you? I don't see you in a cage." Euchre joked.

Liquid walked over to Miranda. He had heard what she said. "I didn't stop you from returning home you had all chance and have stayed. I don't force anyone to do anything but I trust you will do the right thing." Liquid replied. He eyed the Keidran. "Just make sure to take care of your pet."

"Well there goes Xiam's palace." Kill murmured.

"We don't know..." Jin'ichi replied as the explosions began deafening their ears and joined by screams.

"He's not a pet, and you damn well did stop me from going home!" Miranda snapped. "And then that girl tried to seduce me."

"Why are you doing this?" Ayama asked.

---

"Oh god, Ariel." Elizabeth said.

"I prevented you from being killed and my next priority was to come here for information. Is being a prisoner that endearing to you?" Liquid asked. "Also I don't really care for people's personal relationships or sexual orientation. Thats your business." He replied. "Just be careful letting Keidran anywhere. They aren't highly like and he could get killed for not being shackled."

Kill grinned. "It isn't my choice."

"That's where I'm going now. Don't worry Katsu and Ari are there." Jin'ichi replied as a nearby building collapsed beside them and launched debris everywhere.

"I'll be with him." Miranda said.

Elizabeth yelped and lept out of the way. She was terrorfied.

"Then why?" Ayama asked.

"You better." Liquid murmured. "Well than do you want to return home and have your friend here ripped into shreds or what? Your city isn't friendly to Keidrans they exterminated them a long time ago."

Jin'ichi continued to run and as they did the road seemed to ripple like water as the explosions grew worse.

"Even though I want to die. This pain that I have is hurting me and it grows worse if I don't do what they ask." Kill replied.

"Then maybe if I return home, you could take care of him for me." Miranda played with the front of his shirt.

"Oh, god." Elizabeth chanted. She felt like crying. She could bearly stand straight.

Ariel grew frightened as the room shook. She called and screamed for her mother.

"What did they do to you?" Ayama frowned.

"Yes because taking care of a slave would help my standing." Liquid replied. "I couldn't care for him all the time and even if I did it would be unwise to always have him with me." Liquid replied. "He is yours."

Jin'ichi dragged her along. Fire began erupting around them enveloping everything in their path.

Ari rushed into the room and looked at Ariel. "Your mother is coming don't worry me and my friend will get you out of here." Katsu grabbed Rain as Ari hoisted up Ariel.

"A disease... Not meant to kill me but handicap me. It hurts and the longer I don't obey the longer they wait to send me a dose." He replied.

"It sounds like they're drugging you, like they do with those slave whores." Ayama said.

Ariel screamed. "No! Put me down! I need to find Mum!"

Elizabeth held onto his hand tightly.

Miranda nodded. "He is. And with him, you need to consider leaving the merchant alone."
