"I don't believe I belong anywhere." Miranda said. "i feel I should go back to stop any future attacks."

"Attacks will happen regardless. Don't blame yourself for that and try to accomplish things that will help during those events." He replied as he led her from the tunnel.

Miranda nodded slowly.

"So what do you wish for me to do with the Keidran... I mean Euchre." He replied,

"What do you mean?" Miranda asked

"Do you plan to keep him?" Liquid asked.

"For as long as he wants to stay beside me." Miranda smiled. "I never had a friend before. Its kind of nice to have one. I just-" She took a deep breath. "I don't know if he wants to be my friend, or he's just following me because I saved him or whatever."

"Than figure him out. I believe he is just blinded from your kindness. What would you do if someone suddenly released you when all you knew was a life of torture. I believe he is just blinded and confused at the moment and has no idea of what hes doing. He is used to being ordered but he sounds relatively smart." Liquid replied. "They honor their word and they are fairly nice when they don't want to tear your face." Liquid exited the tunnel.

"I just have one last question..." Liquid began to fumble through his pockets as his radio buzzed. He quickly turned it off and looked at her. "I'll ask you later. You already have been through enough turmoil. I'll investigate it on my own tilll than."

"No, what is it?" Miranda asked as she stepped closer to him. "Ask me anything."

"You've become more comfortable with me. I believed you strongly disliked me even though I saved you from harm from your father and kept you relatively safe." Liquid replied sounding a bit sarcastic but holding some truth in his words. "When you were trying to kill that man. Were you focused?" Liquid asked.

"What man?" Miranda asked. "And I still do dislike you. I just tolerate you now."

"Well tolerate me a bit longer." Liquid replied. "I will be blunt with you. You may never like what I say though. A few moments after I interfered I received multiple reports of people's heads erupting. It was a bit bizarre but the reason I link this too you is every single one of them was currently a slave owner." Liquid replied as he looked at her. "I have no idea and it might not be related but it is something I will continue to look into this situation."

"I was focusing on him, but not entirely." Miranda said. "I was panicking and letting my emotions take over."

"Be careful. It seems that since you weren't focused your mind murdered any slavers in the vicinity. Its surprising but quite shocking." He replied.

"Jesus." Miranda breathed. She had to get this power under control. She didn't want to accidentally kill someone who upset her.

"It is utterly amazing but it reveals your limits. Your mind basically killed a little over 60 before it finally seized its target. It also got weaker as it transferred. The first ones were brutal and the current man simply had his brain ruptured." Liquid replied nonchalantly. "Just promise not to think of me." He joked.

"Believe me, I have plenty of times." Miranda said. "I just... thats 60 people I killed. 60 in one day. God, i'm not better than my father."

Liquid laughed. "You probably ruined more water molecules before you came close to me. I wouldn't fret and worry. You have given the caged Keidran a chance. Multiple have escaped and fled and all the slavers were criminals. I wouldn't worry for those who already had their lives lost before they died." Liquid replied. "Your father is scared. He never accomplishes anything himself. He stays on the sidelines while I stay with my forces. It's a double bladed sword though. I can never penetrate his defense without being surrounded but he can never pick at me enough to bother me. It's a stale mate."

Miranda nodded slowly. She was till in shock over what had happened.

"Don't worry. Just be careful and I believe you can use your power without causing yourself harm." Liquid replied.

"How?" Miranda asked.

"Focusing on one target will relieve tremendous stress. Releasing it on a number of people would strain you. I believe thats why you killed every single bandit that chased us and now with all the slavers."

"But I don't want to kill people to releive stress." Miranda said.

"Well as I said... Don't kill everyone. Only the ones who need their lives ended." Liquid replied. "Your best interest would be for me to teach you but you may end my life easily with something I know very little about. Again, it might be my interest too help you as well."

"I'm not an assassin, Liquid." Miranda said. "I'm not like you. I don't want to kill anyone. Not even if they deserve it. I hate killing people. it makes me feel sick."
