"Someone who wants the hell out of this place." Miranda said.

"Oh jesus." Ayama rolled her eyes and pulled out a grenade. She threw it at the beetles and it exploded.

---

"What I want is for this drug to wear off and for me to find my daughter and live somehwere else, I dunno, maybe on the ocean." Elizabeth said.

"What country do you come from?" The man asked quickly as he ordered all weapons down.

Some bugs erupted from the explosion as others quickly spread out and formed back together as they began to surround the two. Drea pulled out a lighter and blew into it. It suddenly began to set anything ablaze in front of her.

"Keidran aren't very friendly too humans though and you can fight your way out. Just be careful. I warn you that the only way out is to beat me out of you but diong that will cost you but this is your mind. You should overcome this drug."

"Currently? I'm from no country." Miranda said. "Look, can you help us or not?"

Ayama flipped from her spot on the ground and on to the shoulders of the man. She lit up her own fire and got ready to drop it on him. "Stand down Solider, we're not here to harm you."

"I am sick of people getting into my mind!" Elizabeth snapped before forcing everyone out of her head.

"As long as you don't fire a gun at us. The Keidran shouldn't fear us. We treat his people with respect. We aren't like the federation." One man replied. "Call me Turk I'll make sure we survive this." He replied as he slid some firearms along the ground toward them.

The insects immediately stopped and he froze. "These people have harmed everyone." He replied in a raspy voice. "I must eliminate them. I must seek revenge." He replied to her as the beetles began to re enter him slowly.

He had disappeared and in his place was a dead soldiers body and the room that once looked like the hospital was replaced by a broken garage.

"I don't need that." Miranda told him. "I have my own weapons that prove to be a far greater source of destruction."

"Then join me and my cause." Ayama said. "We have all lost something and we are all seeking revenge. We may kill for money, but it is to feed the pack. The family."

Elizabeth slid to the floor, her whole body shaking. She needed to find her daughter.

"Alright." Turk looked at her questioningly. "We are surrounded by these things it appears. We can focus our turrets to protect us from behind as we force our way out the opposite end." He replied and looked at the pair. "We aren't sure how this disease spreads but if you are bitten we will leave you or kill you." He replied.

"I am pain... That is what they call me." He replied as he looked up at her. Before he could say anymore a shot broke through his shoulder and caused him to stumble forward. Before he could move another went through his stomach scattering beetles against the ground.

"Help us!" The guard cried out. "These people are all monsters! We aren't even the patrol that watches this but we have seen what they have done!"

Ari looked around. "Damnit! Where did that girl go?" She pondered as she ran around the wreckage.

"As we would you." Miranda said.

Ayama groaned and turned. She aimed her gun at his head. "I was having a conversation."

"Mummy?" Ariel called as she looked through the wreckage for her mother/

"If you weren't watching we all know the cost." He replied to their fellow man they had shot. "These things are dangerous and rampant. We believe the Chinese Federation is collapsing and taking anything down with it." He replied. "Can I ask which country you hail from? We have no quarrels with anyone besides the borders and if you are from the borders which city? We have enough enemies we don't want anymore." Turk replied.

The guards froze and aimed their weapons at the pair.

The sound of clapping appeared from the side. "Amazing how carefree you are... Standing on the shoulders of a man who doesn't even have to listen to you because he can eviscerate our legs in seconds or aiming your guns at officers who aren't even involved in this conflict."

The man revealed himself and sat against a crate. He lifted a bottle of something to his lips and looked at the scenario presented in front of him. "Come on... Go on... I want to see a show." The man replied as he placed the bottle besides him and it began to crack and break apart.

Blue dropped in front of the girl and looked at her. In his crippled condition he moved his hand over her head. "Your mom?"

Ayama pulled out a knife from her belt and flung it at the man. It landed between his legs, very nearly striking his delicates.

"We're not from anywhere." Miranda said. "We're cold and we're hungry and we just want to find somewhere peaceful."

Ariel looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "I can't find my Mum. I can't find my mommy."

The man leaned over and pick up the knife as it began to disintegrate in his hand. "Strange... I can break items into a basic form. I haven't tested it on anything living yet but it should react almost the same." His hands began to bleed as he continued to hold onto the knife. "Of course... I can't hold it for long." He replied dropping the knife and looking at Ayama. "By the way... You missed."

He didn't like her answer. "If your a detriment to the group in any way we will get rid of you." He replied as he walked forward and began to talk to the others. The7 had all seemed to have agreed to leave and began packing. A few setting explosions behind them.

"She will be fine. She is looking for you." He replied looking down at her.

"I wasn't trying to hit you." Ayama said. "I just don't like being interrupted."

Miranda looked to her partner.

"Are you okay?" Ariel asked.

"This isn't your home. I believe you interrupted our fun." He replied. "I released him here to get some laughs. A man who is a human hive for insects. Pretty danferous that he can use them but unfortunately its more of a defensive mechanic from the insects about anything threatening their home." He replied.

Fire began to suddenly spread from the forest as another bomb erupted. "We have no more time left! Lets get going!" Turk replied.

---

"Not necessarily... Your mom's friend tried to kill me." He replied sitting in front of her.

"And he and I were having a conversation." Ayama said.

Miranda swore.

"Why would they do that?" Ariel asked. "You seem so nice."

"About what?" The man replied as the guards suddenly aimed at him. "You see so high of yourself. So sure... I wonder who you are... I know your not normal." He dropped something on the ground and kicked it forward. As it rolled toward them they realized it was an unpinned grenade.

They turned on the turrets and they immediately began firing into the forest.

"We have some time with those! Start moving forward." Turk replied as they began to move forward with guns drawn. Their visors turned green and they began to look around.

Euchre looked at Miranda and urged her forward.

"They don't understand a lot of things. Like this war or what Lee was planning to do. Its more of a mess. I was only trained in camp and had never gone on any real mission. I was supposed to be an expert." He replied as he removed his mask and revealed a man with dark hair underneath. "They shot me good thats for sure. This suit won't hold much else."

"We'll just have to see wont we." Ayama said with a small smirk. "Drea, Duck!"

Miranda followed. She held onto Euchre's hand tightly.

"We need to find you help." Ariel said.

Drea ducked down and the insects began to pour from the mans body.

As Euchre fired he used his hearing to determine if anything was nearby. Every once in a while there would be a yell and one less gun firing. More flames began to shoot from the forest lighting up the nearby brush.

Blue smiled. "Not necessarily... Your mom is wandering somewhere out there. She won't like me since I kinda drugged her but I can try to get her to you or you to her." He replied.

"This is dangerous!" Miranda said. "There could be innocents in there."

Ayama lay over the grenade.

"You drugged her? Where they bad drugs? Were you trying to hurt her?" Ariel asked.

"We need to survive... With those things out there I don't think any innocents will survive." He replied as he turned and fired at one near Miranda. "I'll keep you alive don't worry."

"Much more exciting then I thought." He replied as he kicked the gunpowder around his feet. "Surprised you would do that." He kept a sidearm pointed at the guards. He lit a cigarette casually with his free hand and looked over at the others. "Don't know whose sides I am on... but I suggest that neither of you move."

"No, just trying to get information out of her without hurting her. Its a hypnotic but it only causes headaches which should heal in minutes. I don't care for her much more then I wonder why she was associated with the two that were with her and what she was doing with an information dealer." He replied.

"And I suggest you stop moving." Ayama told him.

"She's trying to protect me." Ariel said. "She hates it here."

"I can help." Miranda told him. "These things, are they the undead?"

"They don't smell like death. They are still alive just... not normal..." He replied as he continued to move. "I don't know where we can get out of this." Another explosion erupted even nearer.

"Ignite the gunpowder at my feet and the explosions behind me will ignite.... I know what I am doing." He replied as some of the ash from his cigarette fell and sparked some gunpowder. "I don't like entering situations I can't win." He replied and looked at Drea. "I want you to drop your weapons. Begin with that knife and toss it away."

Drea did as he said grabbing her knife and slowly releasing it from her sheath. She moved it slowly and had the blade pointed away from the man before she set it down she pulled the trigger. A bullet pierced his hand and blasted the firearm from his wrist. He cursed and began to pull a second from his belt.

"Why? What did your mom do before this?" Blue asked as he lay back against some wreckage. "Your mom should fine your way hear I'll keep you safe till then."

Ayama jumped up and moved quickly over to him, as if in a flash. In less than a second her hand had entered his stomach and with it the grenade. "I wouldn't."

Miranda froze and focused. She froze everything within the forest apart from them and the ngroup of soilders.

"She was a bad mans right hand woman." Ariel said. "She said that the money was good."

"You just caused us a problem..." He spat the cigarette against the floor and the gunpowder ignited and instantly caught fire. It spread rampantly and bursted concrete outward towards them. The man stumbled back and caught his stomach. "Your scary... Now lets see if you can fall into another trap." He replied as he began to wrap his hand with a piece of his shirt.

Turk smacked into them and fell unto the ground. He removed his visor and threw it against the ground. "There is a clearing a bit forward. We decided to take that route." He replied as he pushed himself up. "Those things are numerous and we already have reports that our turrets are down so no more back support or diversions over there."

"Do you think money is everything? Its just colored paper we put value in." He began to balance a knife on his finger. "We have multiple bad men in this world and they paid to make me. Didn't make me a better person."

Ayama stayed where she was. "You have no idea who you are dealing with." She growled.

"This is taking a lot of focus." Miranda said. "I need someone to lead me out."

"But at least we doidn't live on the streets." Ariel said. "They're a scary place."

"Ayama, age 20-30, physically fit and adaptable to a ridiculous amount of situations. Your danger level is severe in my book." He replied. "Don't know why you are here though." He began to juggle a knife in his hands. "Don't really care though. I don't know if you understand this facility and its uses. We are created as prototypes for eventual future soldiers. I was produced to think rapidly about any situation. My brain is as fast as a powerful super computer. I also have this power to shatter items." He replied as the dagger began to break in his hands. "Of course if I use this too much it begins to destroy the outside of my skin, fat, muscle and eventually could reach to bone if I didn't stop it." He replied and watched her growl. "What are you looking for in here anyway? Weren't you expecting a fight? We have this whole arena to fight in since I don't think your friends can get past that rubble." He walked over to one of the jail cells and tapped the clear plastic window which revealed an inmate in a straight jacket. He didn't seem particularly amused and just watched as the man walked away.

"But yes... I've heard of you in particular Ayama... Once a hero and now resulting to breaking into prisons during a full blown war? Kind of petty of you. Expected more from you. If you want to know why people like I have heard your name is because you are one of the basic components in these experiments. They wanted to make soldiers from the best and you are one of them. I'm not sure what happened to those clones they made from your DNA. Some weird doctor took them. Don't worry its older blood taken when you were once a soldier so its nothing recent. Nothing like you now." The man threw the sword on the ground and got it to stick facing upwards. "Now what the hell are you doing in here?"

The trees collapsed in front of her and a giant vehicle bulldozed its way across the forest. A soldier waved from the top and told them to climb the ladders.

"Holy shit. Dizzy survived." Turk replied as he told all his troops to rendezvous with him. The vehicle made grueling noises as it began to lurch forward and fire thousands of rounds around it. It looked more like an over sized tank.

"We aren't safe yet!" The man replied below. "We got everything in this forests! The infected aren't the worst of this shit!" The man replied. "We saw one of these things... It was made out of multiple human bodies! Gotta get the hell out of here!"

Euchre looked at Miranda and tried to help her up.

"Why is that?" He asked as he looked around worriedly. He heard something that sounded familiar. It didn't sound like the league soldiers outside but something worse. He had wished the mother had found them by now. Strange she didn't just come to the place she left her daughter. A bucket fell and he sat on edge but tried not to give any emotion away to the girl.
