"I think he has bit me plenty of times. I dont feel comfortable doing this." He replied as he looked over at Elizabeth. "Care to try?"

Katsu just lay there as he waited.

"You must remember my protege... That the power of deception and lying is much more threatening than an actual weapon itself." The doctor replied as he looked at the young boy. "But of course if you ever must deal with something physically you must always have the option." He replied to the child.

The Haggard continued to move and looked at the pieces of wreckage as if they were treasure wishing to collect them.

"Deserve what?" The doctor asked as he looked over at Miranda unable to distinguish her.

"Who would he rather do it? A professional or a woman?" Elizabeth asked.

The boy pouted and threw the remote away. "I really wanted something to explode." He said. "Can we keep her? She'd be fun to play with."

"Leave them." Ayama told him. "We'll find plenty more later." he looked to see if Pain was still following.

"The treatment?" Miranda said. "You may have helped many, but that was only to sell them into slavery."

"I never said I got my doctorate degree. As far as that is concerned you are equal to me and you don't seem contempt with the way I do things." He replied to Elizabeth.

"Just the threat alone can allow you to get away with things." The doctor replied as he looked on. "I believe she will eventually be your play thing." He smiled.

The Pain followed behind as he seemed to inspect every insect that crawled onto his hand. The Haggard just moved as his body seemed to snap his arms back into the correct position.

"You are mistaken... Selling them? Where do you get such an absurd idea." He coughed as he looked at her. "Those tunnels that I led you into are the way I sneak slaves out of their holding cells where they are exterminated like cattle. I would rather die than even think of such a thought." He replied as he looked at his arm which seemed stripped from its skin. "I believe I've already been reprimanded for all the sins I've allowed." He replied.

"The slavers knew of that exit. They were waiting for us." Miranda said.

"She'd be fun to play with." The boy grinned.

Ayama looked around for her friend.

"True." Elizabeth said. "But I no longer garee with much."

"They were getting ready for the slaughter either that or they were just going to slaughter everything. Why would I gain from lying to you?" He replied as he just stared at the roof of the tent.

Drea was hunched over the boy. She looked pale and unmoving as they approached her.

"Well I would recommend you do such a thing with my aid. As I said I'm not comfortable working on him." He replied as he offered her his supplies.

"Everything." Miranda said. "You have no debt to us, no reason not to lie."

"Drea?" Ayama asked as she approached her friend. "Drea, you okay?"

"And I think he senses that." Elizabeth took the supplies and bent down beside Katsu.

"True but to prove my innocence what must I do to you? You obviously don't remember the picture of my family... I was married to a Keidran. To even think I would do something to help even the people who killed her is unimaginable. If you still truly believe I did you wrong than just end me now." He replied to her softly.

"I can't feel much..." She replied as she looked at Elizabeth. "I feel like somethings wrong." She replied and showed the boy who clutched at her. Drea seemed alarmed when she saw the haggard. Her eyes bleeding and stance faltering.

"I probably would have killed him..." Katsu replied as he looked at Elizabeth.

"I knew I had to be careful." The doctor replied as he sat next to Shiruba. "I designed you to rip arms off. I would be an idiot to think of nearing you."

Katsu just grinned and looked at Elizabeth.

Miranda just shook her head. "I just had to know. I find that if you just accuse and not ask people are more likely to tell the truth."

Ayama gently took the boy from her friend. "I got him. You move away." She said gently.

Elizabeth looked up at him. "So why let me work on you?"

"Is it because she's pretty?" Ariel grinned

"Why would you ever think of that of me?" He asked as he closed his eyes and began to breathe slowly.

Turk entered the tent.

"I will." She replied. "Just feel drained." She murmured.

"Like your girl said... Your pretty." Katsu just grinned as he continued to stare at the doctor.

"Timing was bad." Miranda said. "And good money in slavery. Besides, I'd make one kick ass slave."

"Pain, haggered move her away." Ayama said.

Elizabeth blushed softly and cleared her throat. She continued to work on him.

"Why do you say that?" Turk replied as he looked on. "I don't think you'd make a good slave."

The pain picked her up and carried her. The Haggard just followed as the boy looked up at Ayama. Something on his back poking at her.

"Never thought someone your age would get flustered." Katsu replied as he turned his gaze on Elizabeth. "Also, you don't have to be perfect. Just make sure I'm not falling to pieces." Katsu replied.

"I've only ever sowed up clothes." Elizabeth muttered. She finished and stepped away.

Ayama frowned and put the boy down to check his back.

" And why is that?" Miranda asked.

"Its like the same thing... Just make sure to pour this on it." The doctor replied as he passed her hydrocloric acid. "It'll clean the wound and make sure its not going to get infected and at least we know where your daughter gets he looks from." He replied as he sat back down.

A wing appeared and wildly flopped around as he held her hands.

"You'd make a better ally." He replied as he looked on. "We also have more coming in. Seems to be hell out there."

"Liquid's here." The radio cackled.

"Oh fuck off." Miranda sighed. He looked to Turk. "Thank you for your help, but we'll be leaving now."

"Oh jesus." Ayama breathed.

"Okay." Elizabeth said. "Lets stop commmenting on my looks."

"Alright." Turk replied as he exited the tent and looked at the radio. "So can you tell me why he is exactly here? Commander Steele won't be satisfied with someone as controversial as him near our areas." He replied into the radio.

The boy just struggled to turn back over as Drea smiled. "I said the same thing... Until my wounds started to kick in." She replied.

"Well we should be here soon." Shiruba replied as the train exited the mountain and forest surrounded the valley they had entered.

"Well... If it isn't something else that is pretty." The doctor replied as he cleaned his area and took his supplies back.

Miranda hovered to see why Liquid was here.

"We just need to get out of here." Ayama said. "I have a base close by."

"Wow.." Elizabeth breathed. Ariel left Katsu's side to look out the window.

"I can already hear Commander Steele." Turk replied as a woman with white hair and a tattoo on her neck stood in front of Liquid. She didn't seem pleased as Liquid stood before her.

"Your playing with fire." Liquid warned as he helped some wounded out and revealed to her some prisoners he had captured. He untied them as he kept his gaze on her. "Attacking the city of thieves will only damage any chance you have at preventing a full blown war within the borders. You have already achieved your success with eliminating the presence of Federation forces in the area. You have no-"

"To believe that we should stop when our Intel reveals that the largest concentration of Federation agents who have poisoned our food and water is preposterous. We have already tried to do this by peaceful means but two million of our people have died because of the Federation. While the Federation doesn't even get involved or try to control those who wish to cause us harm. We understand the pain we created in the past but we will not let others push us into the ground. This was the easiest way to avoid an entire conflict and intervene in this matter. We could rid those against us, show our military strength and reveal to the other two nations we are definitely someone to be careful around. We have no problems with the Core dictator but we hope that he understands like the Federation will that it is an idiotic idea to pester us." Steele clenched her teeth as she inspected every single person seemingly trying to find if any were traitors or spies.

"Yea..." Drea nodded as the Pain helped her and the Haggard followed along.

The boy just scrambled in Ayama's hands.

"What will you do with the boy?" Drea asked.

"Its nice you can stay here. The reason this place has remained so clean is the Alundra. They distrust us humans but they accept some of the ones we drop here. They are very powerful and can do things we can only imagine. Just be careful though we have only recently created this train line and it is heavily monitored and inspected by Alundra." Shiruba replied. "Anyways you should definitely be safe here. They are peaceful but can defend themselves greatly. They prefer solitude to the war but they welcome the wounded into their forests but the problem they suffered before were selfish humans who took advantage of them."

"Train him up to fight." Ayama said. "Or take care of contracts. He'll have a use, without being sold into slavery."

Elizabeth nodded silently.

Miranda left to find Euchre.

One of the new comers who was still tied up began to laugh. He had black shaggy hair and was rather handsome. He pulled his hands out of the bonds, obviously something he could do all along to wipe his tears away as he laughed.

"Surprised you don't take in the trade." Pain replied as he looked at her. "Orphanages, slaves, asylums, prisons or the homeless is where a majority are taken in as experiments. After that it is up to their personality and what they wish to do with you that derives these operations." Pain replied as he supported Drea. "Also, aren't you worried about that this is exactly what Strange wants you to do and probably intends to take him back at some point."

The boy simply stopped struggling and remained silent as his wing covered his side.

Haggard just grunted as they continued to move on.

"The Alundra have their own history. When we first encountered them it was because we had pushed their wilderness so far and with their preference for solitude they had moved so far back when they were finally found they had prepared for war and set everything on fire. It was our fault then. Happened a couple hundred years ago but even after we helped them recreate their homeland they continued to expand and demand more until with the help of the Keidrans we eradicated their forces. They finally accepted a more peaceful role and currently are still trying to reprimand for their past ferocity. They have their own form of government and unlike the Keidran or Humans they aren't necessarily split into nations but more into groups they are born in. Some are born into warriors and I believe that was our major problem before since that was what they had focused on when they waged war with us but currently they have bred more into academics and economic families but their war families are still quite large and focused. Of course no one blames them now but I do wonder how they have grown since technology has only gotten better even though the state of the world has only gotten worse." The doctor looked over at Elizabeth. "Just be careful while we are there. Some have interests in humans while others do not." The doctor warned as he looked at Ariel as they passed a massive lake which reflected the sky. Some people looked like they were swimming while others just sat at its edge and ate.

Steele just raised her eyebrow and looked towards Liquid. "If you have prisoners from an asylum or mental institution I would have recommended another camp." She looked on as the soldiers watched uneasily.

"No, no no." The young man laughed. "I just find it hilarious that you think we don't know your plans and that you plan to take us on."

"I don't care." Ayama said. "I'm following my gut and he's just a boy, for fucks sake."

"What do you mean?" Elizabeth asked

"We have an army that significantly outweighs your city state. Even without our superior technology or tactics we could simply use brute force to demolish your city. It wasn't something that was ever kept quiet. If the city of thieves hasn't noticed by now I would have considered them liars. They may penetrate ranks but we have plenty of things we can rely on that cannot be tainted." Steele replied as she pulled out a knife from her side and pointed it at his throat.

"Well, I won't disagree with you but where will we go?" Pain asked. "Also, what will happen to us?" He asked referring to the Haggard and himself.

"Some are very aggressive against humans while others actually have a liking towards them. Just understand that they view things differently compared to humans." The doctor replied as the train began to slow and they seemed to have been entering the outskirts of a town. Instead of clearing the land the houses were made around the trees and lanes were cleared for travel.

An Alundra stood at the station. Her body glowed orange and wings made of fire spread from her back. She just watched them with an aggressive stance to assure that the humans were bringing no trouble.

"Be careful of some. She could set you on fire instantly." The doctor replied.

"Its also funny how you think we only opperate from within the one city." The man smiled as he looked up at her. "Nothing is safe from the city of theives, love. If you know what I'm saying." He winked at her.

"Thats up to you." Ayama said. "You can come with me if you wish, or you can find your own way."

Elizabeth took hold of her daughter and held her close. "We'll take our chances, thank you."

She poked his forehead with the length of her sword. "I don't plan on hunting down every individual member but I believe destroying the heart of the Borderlands which should prevent any others to think twice of interfering with our nation." She replied as she pressed her blade beneath his closed eye. Not enough to penetrate but for him to feel the pressure. "I believe I would be completely fine once I leave that city in ruins." She assured.

"I don't plan to be a prisoner again." He replied. "But I trust you." He looked at the boy. "What he is... Is whats bothering me though." Pain frowned.

"You needn't worry." The woman replied as her lips didn't move. "I don't hurt young ones." She replied as she stood unmoving with her hands at her sides clenched in fists as if ready for an attack. Her wings moved slowly and the fire danced around her as only her eyes followed them closely as if analyqing them and making sure they were alright. It look like other Alundra were doing the same with each kart. Some with radically different powers. A woman having what appeared to be bones while another breathed electricity from her mouth. The women seemed to be eased a bit as they examined the occupants and some other Alundra moved in to help the injured into the city. The soldiers stood out of the way but watched carefully as the people moved in.

"But the funniest thing of all is that you believe that attacking the city will stop us." The man said. "I was sent here with a message. Bring it on bitch. See if destroying the city stops us."

"He is nothing of concern." Ayama frowned at him. "He is a child and will be treated as such."

"I don't worry." ELizabeth said. "You don't seem the types to hurt the innocents, but if I am attacked it will be my own fault."
"I want Kat to stay too." Ariel said as she reached out for Katsu.

"I would be careful of your tongue because I may cut it off." She replied as she pressed something on her radio and then turned it off. "You think I'm here to stop you? No, I could never stop you but could I severely damage your power in this region? Definitely." She replied as she looked at the man. "It was never about destroying you. I thought they of all people would know that but using tasteless threats will get them nowhere. I am determined to just damage those who are against us. If you think I am against all of you I would warn that some have been on my side. Its fairly easy to control those who are persuaded by objects rather than honor."

"I don't question you... But what do you think of him?" The Pain asked as he touched his arm. "What do you think of us all?"

"You won't be attacked but retained to make sure you cause no harm to others or yourself." The woman replied as she remained unmoving.

Katsu just grinned and looked at her. "I don't think that is a good idea." He replied as the Alundra tensed as if surprised by his presence. They seemed to not have sensed him and all of them flared.
